wouldn’t recommend, the whole self serve thing would of been fine if the vegetarian ramen had actual flavor instead of tasting like watered down cream(?!?!?!) covered in sweet corn and uncooked/unseasoned tofu. got food poisoning from this. would only recommend if you want to be over the toilet for the next day or two 👍

I like this place a lot and the servers are nice. However, I'm knocking down my rating exclusively because the hours are kinda ridiculous.
They open at 5pm (or 3pm on Sat & Sun) and then switch to the limited late-night happy hour menu at 8:30. And that sucks. Cause the best food on their menu is the Chirashi (something no one else in Bellingham serves), except you only have a 3-hour window to order it. If there was a larger window to order Chirashi (say they opened earlier on weekdays or, more preferably, served it past 8:30 pm), I would give them 5-stars (and a lot more of my money. Like, seriously, I'd go there maybe 4-times as often).

It’s more like a 3.75/5. If you’re wanting a good meal I suggest the pork gyozas, chicken or pork katsu and edamame. The ramen is pretty mediocre. Maybe if you get it spicy the broth would have more flavor. But everything else was very yummy. Staff was nice and the atmosphere was okay.

Came here for a date night with my girlfriend to try this place, and left feeling excited for the next visit. This place has a warm and inviting dining atmosphere, in addition to friendly staff who greet you upon entry.
We ordered the chicken teriyaki, Chirashi Donburi bowl, miso soup and Takoyaki. Everything arrived very soon after ordering and it all looked beautiful + fresh. Already looking forward to my next visit to this spot.

Definitely more like a 4.25 - The staff was really nice, the drink selection plentiful and the short ribs were amazing. I didn’t care for the ramen broth or the fried chicken but my partner did and that’s what matters.

People are being dramatic, it’s pretty good. I enjoyed my Shoyu ramen and thought the spicy sauce was good. obviously not the best ramen ever but you’re an hour away from Canada what do you expect?? Chill
