Our own personal little slice of Japan right here in downtown bellingham wa. This little ramen shop hasn't been open very long, but I would already consider myself a regular. The chicken teriyaki is absolutely the best I've ever had anywhere, be sure to have it with their signature umami chili oil. The takoyaki is also a must try item and I never miss an opportunity to get a fresh crispy order that they do better than anyone else , they top their takoyaki with bonito flakes that are delicious. If you're ever in the area and you're craving a hot steaming bowl of ramen this is definitely the spot to get your fix. On Fridays and Saturdays they're open late and you can enjoy .99 cent beer with your meal. Come for the great food and cheap beer, but stay for the atmosphere ? ?

Overpriced and super disappointing quality. Was excited to try this place out finally but they not only got our order wrong, they didn’t even offer to compensate us for the poor tasting food.Won’t be coming back and wouldn’t recommend! There’s better ramen in town :/

I recently dined at "Ramen and Bowl," a restaurant located in Downtown Bellingham, and here's my take:They have a unique ordering system where you order your food at the counter and receive an order number card before they deliver your meal. Our group of eight opted for four different flavors of ramen and three different bowls.Unfortunately, the ramens, especially the broth, lacked depth of flavor. Even the spicy options were disappointing, as they seemed to rely solely on an extra kick of red pepper flakes rather than developing a richer taste profile. On the bright side, the spicy pork bowl and Donkatsu Bowl were standout dishes. The spicy pork bowl boasted an authentic Korean flavor despite being in a Japanese restaurant. Additionally, the pork Donkatsu was well-executed, with perfectly cooked pork of the right thickness.Despite the restaurant's name emphasizing both ramen and bowls, I would recommend sticking to the bowl menu exclusively.Service at "Ramen and Bowl" was exemplary, with friendly and attentive staff members. The location is in Downtown Bellingham, which feels safe, and the ambiance is casual, attracting many young students. While the food portions are generous, the prices are reasonable. However, it's worth noting that the ramens may not justify their cost compared to the flavorful bowls. The restroom was clean, although it lacked a diaper changing station.Parking is ample with plenty of public street parking available, albeit requiring payment. In summary, "Ramen and Bowl" offers a mixed experience. While their ramens may leave something to be desired, the flavorful bowls and excellent service make it a worthwhile dining option, especially for those craving a satisfying meal in a casual setting.

The food was amazing. We came for the 99¢ beer late night special and got a bowl of ramen and some teriyaki tofu and it is to die for! Definitely some of the best ramen I've ever had. Everyone was very nice and attentive. Super chill and relaxing place. Will definitely be coming again. Thank you!

Honestly always happy with the food. This restaurant has the worst hours in town though... so I'm more often disappointed than pleased.

Great portions and efficient service. Ordered 3 dishes: a chirashi bowl, beef sukiyaki, and a shoyu ramen. All dishes above average and large portions. Restaurant was clean and simple.

My chicken katsu was amazing! Adding a side of curry really took it to another level. I highly recommend adding the curry to everything. The matcha ipa was worth a try as well. Food came quick and the service was very kind. I wish there was a few more options, maybe some combo/bento deals, but everything listed was great!

Super good food!! Kind of weird on yelp because yelp jacked up the prices like 4 dollars and it was very affordable when me and my roommate ate in. Also do not underestimate their spice! I got it spicy so that's totally on me because I was not prepared. It was very very good tho, me and my roommate both enjoyed it a lot!

Great food and service but there is no table service despite this it's still a great choice.

We tried this fairly new Ramen spot in downtown Bellingham. The food was OK. The ramen was tasty but could have been hotter temperature wise. The shrimp tempura was fresh and very tasty. It's was our favorite part of the meal. The chicken teriyaki needed to be cooked more and was lacking the teriyaki flavor you crave. I was disappointed to see it is almost completely self-serve. You order at a kiosk and bus your own table. The sodas are in cans. Yet the kiosk asks for a tip. Was hoping this was going to be better. Overall, there are better options in Bellingham.
