Now closed permanently, this was once the only place in town to get vegan or gluten free donuts. Sadly, they were nothing special and often a little stale. The 50s decor and old sci-fi memorabilia will surely be missed, even if the donuts will not.

We stopped by sunday morning and had a couple of donuts. WOW. So good. If you've ever traveled in the Pacific Northwest you've probably heard of Voodoo Donuts. Let me just say Voodoo should count their blessings these guys don't Rocket down I-5 to Portland (see what I did there?) Great donuts, very friendly staff, super clean seating. I loved the classic sci fi theme and movies playing on the TVs. Definitely going to make Rocket a regular stop anytime in Bellingham

Really yummy donuts!! Best ones hands down. Worth the money. The Bavarian cream filled ones were DELICIOUS. I usually get donuts from grocery stores and the middle gets soggy weird texture. (Gross) but the Bavarian cream I could eat on its own! The big Simpson donut I could split between 3 people. & really friendly staff. I will continue my 30 min drive just for these!!! YUMMY

We're going to be so sad when you close next month! Our family tradition since our kids were babies is to come get our favorite donuts on each person's birthday. How are we supposed to celebrate without bacon Maple bars??

In the past three visits to Rocket Donuts, they have screwed up our order twice now! I called their shop immediately to notify them of the problem and the girl who answered (Abby) was completely unprofessional. She initially tried to place blame on her co-worker, then she followed that up by placing the blame on me for not opening the box and inspecting it. My order was missing items I ordered, so yeah I suppose it's my fault for trusting you to ensure I walked out of your business with everything I ordered. Not once did she accept her mistake, not once did she offer a solution to the problem and most importantly, she never once offered any type of apology! She had no problem asking (and ultimately receiving) for gratuity when having me sign for my debit card purchase, but doesn't want to accept things when she makes a mistake. Today's experience was a complete joke, the service I received ranks high in terms of the worst customer service received and I will likely discontinue doing any further business with Rocket Donuts as a result of today. I understand we are all human, we all make mistakes, but there was no reason whatsoever for what happened today. You guys make pretty good donuts, but I'll settle for less in exchange for professional/friendly service any day of the week from the other place!!

My husband and I made a quick walk through Bellingham after visiting Vancouver, and stumbled upon Rocket Donuts. The beautiful mural and funky rocket on the side of the building are what first caught our eye while meandering through downtown, so we ran in to check them out and boy are we glad we did. We got a triple berry donut with berries all picked locally, and it was soooooooo good! Sweet but it still had great flavor, and you could even taste the berries in the purple icing. We also got a lovely old fashioned donut that tasted fabulous. I would definitely stop back in if we were ever in town again, and recommend them to any friend traveling through. The interior was very clean, and the associates were very helpful. They asked how they could help us and made great suggestions. Thanks for the yummy treats!
Came for the donuts. Stayed for the ice cream. Staff was very friendly and the place is artful in its design. The mint ice cream was what I had and I really enjoyed it.

The home of acme ice cream only surprises when you realize they have fantastic donuts too! I recommend one of each especially after a hike in the area.

Acme Ice Cream has a gummy texture from the additives that improve it's shelf life. While there are tasty flavors, ice cream is not supposed to feel like that in your mouth.
