I ordered vegetarian tacos and they had no flavor what so ever. I assume they use frozen veggies because of the watery taste. The salsa and guac are mediocre. The staff was kind and very attentive! The atmosphere is nice. The food tho…. Not good

I wanted to write a decent review about this place because I did enjoy my mezcal margarita. But, my experience was not pleasant at all. For the past four years I’ve tried a New Mexican restaurant on my birthday and this year I decided to try Senor Lopez. The first waitress that greeted me was not welcoming at all. She even took my ID and asked me to verify my address as if I was giving her a fake ID. After this I was about to leave and try another restaurant. But, I started drinking my margarita and decided to stay. The food was OK. Nothing to return to and this is the very first Mexican restaurant I went to where they didn’t offer you anything for your birthday. Really wish I would have tried a different spot. I 100% regret spending my birthday alone here. Oh, and the first waitress stopped coming to my table and avoided me like the plague but was assisting guests right beside me. She made me very uncomfortable. But, the second waitress was pretty nice.
