Been here a few times and the breakfasts are always great. Done to perfection. And service has always been excellent as well. But $5 for a cup of coffee is over the top and I had to take a star off just because of that. If the coffee was beyond incredible then than $5 every now and then would be worth it. But the coffee is weak and bad and I've had better at Denny's. Plus if you're you're down from Canada this is a $7 CAD cup of bad coffee. So my recommendation...
This was our first time here. Drinks: We ordered all three mocktails and a vodka drink. The mocktails were $17 and consisted of very watered down common ingredients (tea, lemon, lavender, cranberry). Very meh Food: Ordered the steak bites, very tasty. The onion & beet flatbread was nothing more than a personal pizza with lots of caramelized onions & very few beets. Very basic. This restaurant has earned 5 ⭐️—despite that, I will not be back. More on that later.
We ordered the brussel sprouts as an appetizer (some of the best I’ve had), the fried halibut (good, not as flaky as I would prefer, certainly not worth $34, but good). This may warrant a lower score, but the rest of the food was above average in taste. The soup of the day (red pepper) was perfectly seasoned and the sliders were good.
