Don’t let anything fool you, this place is awesome. The food is super good and portions were great, and the service was excellent too! We were given a free dessert of Sopapillas when paying too:)

Happy to have stumbled across SdM - excellent, almost home-cooked food, and apparently bottomless chips and salsa (I especially appreciated the salsa). Daily lunch specials. Off-menu drinks apparently available - I asked for horchata and got it. Am only visiting, but I would definitely return were I living in Bellingham.

Been driving by this place for a few years and finally decided to give it a try. Ordered los dos enamorados (carne asada and bacon wrapped shrimp). It was good, and more or less what I would expect at a Mexican restaurant in the Pacific Northwest. It was enough food for two especially with the chips and salsa.
