Food was great and tasty. Just came down to Bellingham from Vancouver to do some Christmas shopping and stop by here. Haven’t been for a while, but glad to come by and taste some yummy food. Everything was great except one small thing the salmon hot pot was good except the salmon was definitely a little bit rubbery and hard definitely not fresh. Other than that everything was excellent. Hopefully next time they’ll have more seafood options..

We decided to grab a bowl of soup on a chilly rainy evening, and we were lucky enough to find a spot that wasn’t too crowded for dinner. The place was easy to park and we had a nice table all to ourselves.
Now, I’ve heard that this place is a hit or miss for people who try it, so we decided to give it a shot. We ordered two bowls of soup, which some people call ramen or pho, or whatever you prefer.
I ordered the Pho noodle soup, which is topped with chopped cilantro, green onions, and white onions. It also comes with a side of bean sprouts, lime wedges, and green chili. The broth was delicious and the noodles were a bit too soft for my liking. I had to spit out some of the meat because it was tough to chew and swallow
Overall, I gave this meal two stars.
Next, we tried the Saigon Noodle Soup. It had prawns, housemade BBQ pork, and ground pork. It was topped with sesame oil, toasted garlic, fried shallots, cilantro, and onions. The meal was average. We gave the meal three and a half stars.

The eggs rolls was really good and spring rolls. I Order pho and it was ok, the bowl was big but less noodles and brisket, the brisket was chewy and looks weird, I would rather go to 99 pho because it has good portions like large bowl= lots of noodles. At here soy house is just looking fancy but the food is alright

Ive been going to soy house since they opened on bakerview. Best pho in bellingham in my opinion. A little more on the pricey side though. Take a date. Sit on the patio on a summer evening.

Service was really slow and the broth was overly salty. It was busy so we thought it would be really good as we were in town for the day. My husband’s sandwich was mediocre. We were disappointed. Would not return.

The food was very very good. The only improvement I could offer is that the appetizers come out before the meal itself.
The restaurant itself was very loud, so hard to converse easily, but it was very busy at the time we were there as well.
I felt it was quite spendy, but the portions were large.

Very expensive. The food itself was good but, the service was mediocre at best. To make matters worse, we got ticketed for parking in their customer parking. When we spoke to an employee about it, he quickly accused us of parking and walking to another business. After our waitress vouched for us, they said they would void the ticket. I asked for a receipt of the void. He proceeded to ask why I needed proof and that I didn’t trust him. He said, “it shouldn’t be such a big deal because it was a $5 ticket.” In reality, it was a $55 ticket that was going to become a $100 ticket if it wasn’t paid in 5 days. It was very unpleasant for a business to be so dismissive, rude and unprofessional. I will not be going back.

We dine here a lot and always have had good experience, and the food Quality has always been good. tonight I picked up a takeout order of a beef and the seafood with veggie broth. The veggie broth was extremely salty, tasted like salt water. I paid $23 for the seafood pho to pour it down the drain. I called the restaurant to get them feedback, thinking that they would like to know. I was not requesting my money back, however expected them to offer some sort of discount the next time we came in. The girl on the phone said that because you’re not here Management cannot confirm that it’s salty or not. Why would I call if the broth was not salty?
We are extremely disappointed and will never go back. This “was” my fav pho restaurant, but not I will not be coming back. Restaurants are struggling right now, so you would think that they would be concerned about customer service.
Note to management: Please consider offering a small discount if someone has a bad experience. A simple discount would have been great. Your restaurant is a local fav, however if you treat your customers like this.. they will go elsewhere.
