I don’t usually have an issue when I go into Starbucks but after my experience here I will not be returning. The barista working had a pretty nasty attitude when I ordered and I gave her the benefit of the doubt thinking it was a one off. But when I was waiting for my drink I heard the way she treated the other baristas and I literally couldn’t believe it. I think her name was mallory, totally rude to the people who looked like they were working so hard. Won’t be returning here if that’s the kind of work environment management allows.

Coffee shop employees are a lot of people's first contact in the morning.... The way the manager at the shop handled my call the other day was incredible. Their team seems to have amazing communication and they care about their customers. I really like having one shop to go to to build up a rapport there's a sense of community that seems to have been lost in a lot of other areas of life.

Thank you guys for helping me start my Friday morning right and leave into an amazing weekend!

It's a Starbucks, so you can count on drinks being consistent. Customer service at this location was excellent, friendly, and prompt.

Great place to go if you want to be ignored when you enter and made to feel like you annoyed the hell out of someone by interrupting employees talking amongst themselves with a pesky order!

I’ve never been spoken to SO POORLY by a worker in my life. I left this Starbucks shaking and in shock from the way I was treated...

I don’t recall his name, but I would strongly warn others about the older, gray-haired man working here. I had been sitting in the establishment all afternoon, enjoying a full meal and coffee, when this worker started his shift. When I went up to the counter and asked for the bathroom code (as a paying customer), he rudely told me it was for paying customers only. I pointed to my table showing what I had purchased, and he reluctantly gave me the code.

The WORST PART came next… While I was in the bathroom and recollecting myself from the rude interaction, I suddenly heard an aggressive, loud knock. When I opened the door, this same worker yelled that I had to get out because I had “exceeded my bathroom limitations.” Shocked, I asked what policy he was referring to. He claimed there was a “New” 8-minute maximum time for bathroom use. He again repeated that the restroom was “for paying customers only,” insinuating that I hadn’t paid at all. He even had his foot in the door and screamed at me to leave.

I have never been treated this way before. The behavior was unprofessional, hostile, and deeply inappropriate. No customer, especially one who has purchased food and drinks should be treated with such aggression and disrespect. This situation reflects extremely poorly on the establishment and this needs to be addressed!

Coffee and food were pretty quick for a Starbucks. Friendly staff. Good stop off before going to the airport.

Disrespectful Employee Behavior – Deeply Disappointed.

Last Monday, my wife and I ordered a Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino and a Caramel Macchiato through the Starbucks app. When we arrived to pick up our drinks, I politely asked a female employee for a thick straw, which was behind the counter. I have difficulty drinking Frappuccinos with regular thin straws because the cookie crumbles often get stuck.

As the employee was handing me the straw, a male employee named Allen abruptly stepped in, took the straw from my hands, and told both of us that those straws were only for bubble tea drinks. His tone and behavior were uncalled for and made me feel humiliated. While I chose not to confront him in the moment, when I got back home I immediately reported the incident to Starbucks’ Ethics & Compliance Helpline and was given a case number.

To Starbucks’ credit, the regional manager contacted me a few hours later to apologize and confirmed that there is no policy restricting thick straw use to bubble tea. She made it clear that Allen’s behavior was inappropriate and does not align with the company’s values.

I don’t know what triggered Allen’s reaction — whether it was my accent, a bad day on his part, or something else — but regardless, no customer deserves to be treated in such a disrespectful way. As a long-time loyal customer, this experience was deeply disappointing and disheartening.

I sincerely hope Starbucks invests more in employee training to prevent incidents like this from happening to others. Unfortunately, I will never return to this location again.

I go to Starbucks locations all over whatcom county and no other uses as much ice to fill cups as this one. Paying $8 for a cup of ice with coffee on the side…

5 items, 5 trips to the counter. By the time the first person finishes their drink the last drink is ready. Don't know why I even bother with SB.
