Always a good time at Starbies. Plus the new carts have cup holders. I literally cannot emphasize emphatically enough how life changing the cup holders are for a person like me.

Their new lids don't fit their cups. The boss brought us 6 white chocolate mochas and when I went to drink mine, the lid popped off and I wore the coffee from my chin to my knees. I took the lids off the others and on 3 of them the paper edge of the cup was damaged by the lid and sirt of creased. Instead of a treat, I wore wet, sticky clothes until they dried.

This used to be my every-day coffee spot. Now nearly all of the good baristas have either left the company or have transferred to other departments within Fred Meyer. One of them explained to me that the young man who became the Starbucks manager was impossible for any of the employees to work with. Sadly, the store management didn't realize this and/or intervene, and now all my favorite folks are gone. I have found a couple of them working at other coffee shops in the area. Now I have a few new favorite coffee places, and I don't really go to Starbucks at Fred Meyer at all anymore. I even started buying most of my groceries from Whole Foods, which seems like they do a much better job of taking care of their employees. Oh well, Fred Meyer, it was nice while it lasted.

This Starbucks is like the Cheers of Fred Meyer Starbucks. My teenager and I hit this place almost every day and the baristas know our orders, joke with us, and are just all around fantastic. Jayme, Ryan, Morgan, and the rest of the crew are super cool and helpful.Everybody has their favorite drink written down on the board which is a nice personal touch. I suggest the Jayme, personally.
Jayme was my barista she was super friendly and funny great customer service! Our drinks were amazing and delicious best carmel ribbon crunch ever ? I asked for extra strawberries and I actually got some. We will definitely be stopping by this one every time we come this way ?
