Beware people with food allergies. They told me three things were dairy free when they were not. There is GF labeling but not DF labels so it’s open for confusion I guess. Only learned after I had the worker double check with the owner. Also, in the cooler the labels didn’t match the item, so I picked up something that said it was GF/vegan but it was not GF or vegan. No labels on containers so their shop is error prone. Be very careful if you have allergies.

We stopped into Sweet Haven yesterday and were so glad we did! The soft serve ice cream was absolutely delicious, and all the other treats looked just as tempting. The owners were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to accommodate my tree nut allergy, which I really appreciated. It made the whole experience even more delightful. Can’t wait to come back!

We were passing through Fairhaven, and I walked into this adorable bakery in search of a last minute cake to bring on the Alaskan Marine Highway to celebrate my son’s birthday. Not only did they have the most beautiful and delicious 6 inch lemon cake, but they also provided beautiful candles, matches, and a little happy birthday decoration that I could bring on the ferry. The cake is honestly one of the best I’ve ever had (and I’ve had some good cakes) and I was so impressed by how much effort they made into making sure my son would have a special birthday. I am going to tell everyone about this bakery, and hope to make it back one day! This place is so special and the people that work here are amazing!

I first met the owners of Sweet Haven while doing a furnace tune-up at their home. We got to chatting, and they mentioned they had a shop in Fairhaven. I stopped by on my lunch break not long after, and when I saw the display of macaroons, I couldn’t decide which ones to get — they all looked too good. So I ended up getting about 20 of them, haha. I grabbed a few other treats too and brought everything home to my family — they absolutely loved it. The owners are incredibly kind, and everything they make is top-notch. If you're in Fairhaven, definitely stop in!
