One of the best bars I've personally gone to! The service is spot on and me and my wife really enjoy the ambiance this place brings. The music is really good too! If your in the mood for a few drinks and basic appetizers this is the perfect place for you. Also my favorite drink is the Whiskey Smash I highly recommend this to someone who wants a refreshing citrus vibe but a solid buzz.

Just had an excellent experience here with my family! Food was awesome (esp the garlic parm tater tots oh my gosh). The owners are so so kind, the drinks were amazing, even the seats were extremely comfy! I will absolutely go here again and I'd reccomend it to everyone and anyone!!
This is a wonderful establishment. A great place for a quick beer and relaxed conversation. Service is prompt and respectful and the selection of drinks is quite large!
Very nice place to enjoy a real cocktail. Owners are beyond awesome. I don’t get to come to Bellingham much anymore but when I do I always stop in.

Massive improvement over the old owner—old owner was a delusional bully and a weird conspiracy theorist. I like being able to enjoy a beer here without being lectured about how I’ll get cancer from a vaccine or hear why Putin was justified to invade Ukraine.(Good riddance little bully—I don’t miss you ?. Btw, TV backlights burn out if you keep them on for 40 hours a week for 5 years! It’s the same as a lightbulb, silly.)
Great service, tasty cocktails, charming and cozy atmosphere. The bartender crafted a delicious post-hike gin cocktail with charred rosemary and I'm looking forward to a return visit.

Since when are double shots of patron $30 each? Spent $100 last night on 3 double shots of patron. The bartender was nice- it wasn’t her fault but wow. We miss you Kurt! The Blue Abode isn’t good without you:( Won’t be coming back everrrr
