Massive improvement over the old owner—old owner was a delusional bully and a weird conspiracy theorist. I like being able to enjoy a beer here without being lectured about how I’ll get cancer from a vaccine or hear why Putin was justified to invade Ukraine.(Good riddance little bully—I don’t miss you ?. Btw, TV backlights burn out if you keep them on for 40 hours a week for 5 years! It’s the same as a lightbulb, silly.)

Great service, tasty cocktails, charming and cozy atmosphere. The bartender crafted a delicious post-hike gin cocktail with charred rosemary and I'm looking forward to a return visit.

Since when are double shots of patron $30 each? Spent $100 last night on 3 double shots of patron. The bartender was nice- it wasn’t her fault but wow. We miss you Kurt! The Blue Abode isn’t good without you:( Won’t be coming back everrrr

Good drinks, fun trivia. Drinks were a bit slow with only one bartender but they were good.

Noooooooo.... Skip it! High prices. Cocktails not good. Sad. Wanted it to be good. It's not.

Pros, good service and atmosphere. Cons, drinks. Ordered a dry martini with a lemon twist and received a not so dry martini with a olive and the glass was half way full. Sent it back and ordered a gin and tonic which was more like a tonic and a splash a gin.

I'm not sure where to start with this one. I have been to the Adobe prior to new ownership and always had a pleasant experience, but today was probably one of the worst service experiences to date my husband and I have ever had in a bar setting. We arrived around 2, deciding to get an early drink along with an appetizer. I walked in and immediately had to turn around to yell at my husband to retrieve their outdoor umbrella which was blowing down the sidewalk. After sitting down we were asked what we'd like. I needed more time, and a menu and was able to place an order after about 15 min of waiting. Again this place was empty. 20 minutes passed, my drink order was completely forgotten, "literally." The bartender forgot what I ordered. So I politely repeated my drink request that was to be made. He quickly got too it, but then left it sitting behind the bar. Forgotten again! Also, the place is still empty. I got up to retrieve my drink, which the bartender realized he had left sitting on the backside of bar. He seemed very dis-organized, but we were trying to be patient and let it go. It then went completely downhill after my first sip of the drink and I realized he had forgotten to put alcohol in it!!! We are now almost 45 min into this adventure. Since we were playing cards and having a laid back afternoon both my husband and I initially tried to let all of these little blunders go. Along with the weird food order which came out disheveled, it was too late to do so. Needless to say, we will not be returning. Maybe the bartender was having a bad day? Not sure...just sad that one server can sour the overall quality and reputation of an establishment.

My partner and I decided to check this place out again after hearing it was under new management. We were impressed by the drinks and food, and the prices were very reasonable. Our waitress was also very kind and had a great sense of humor. We will definitely be back!

This is for the new owners , I'm sad to see this place diminishing after Kurt left. They don't even recognize the regulars anymore. I noticed one of the regulars asking for a beer, and they just opened the can in front of him like it was a dive bar; Kurt used to serve the beer for him in a glass. Sad they don't recognize the regulars anymore. My boyfriend ordered a pink basil sour (as Kurt called it) which is now the gin basil sour. The quality went down; drinks don't taste the same. I was surprised when he ordered a Manhattan and the bartender shook it; that's not the way a Manhattan is made. My boyfriend asked why and she said it was something about the ice quality...really? For the new owners you need to find someone who knows about drinks and how to make them. Sad to see this nice place slowly becoming a dive bar. They asked for our ID even though we were regulars when Kurt was there.

Young bartender, I'm 54 and got carded…no issue. We were on bicycles and came over for a quick cocktail before 8 pm. We saw a few friends and were laughing when we ordered and were refused service. Seriously. If this is the new ownership in our neighborhood bar then I encourage everyone to not come here. Ridiculous. I also have my MAST card and bartend. Train or hire better and now your on my do not patron list! Good Luck!
