this is easily my favorite bellingham restaurant and has been for a good couple years. the red dragon roll is my favorite roll and i recommend this place to everyone and anyone. i’m probably tokyo house’s #1 fan.
atmosphere is wonderful. my favorite part is the ai background videos on the tvs. the staff is always the best, one time they started screaming at each other in front of me over my pickup order and it was so entertaining. love this place and love these guys! couldn’t recommend enough.

I used to think this place was great. I always order the tofu teriyaki, no rice, extra salad. The tofu is prepared well, the salad dressing is delicious. Today, the tofu was overcooked and very dry, the usual container of salad dressing that's been included literally every other time, probably 20 or more that I've ordered it, was missing. I called, spoke with the owner, and he took no accountability whatsoever. He kept talking over me, really wouldn't let me say much of anything, and just kept saying this is how we cook it for everyone. I tried to say that if this is the way you prepared it the first time I had it, I never would've ordered from you again. Clearly the customer is not valued. Don't waste your money. It's not worth the risk!

Do NOT eat the sushi here. I can't speak to the dishes but. The sushi is very underwhelming. Flavors unlike I've ever had before. Hoping it's safe. Didn't taste rotten, just not like it should. Always leery of a sushi place with no sushi bar. Can't see what they are doing.

The lady cooking had an unpleasant attitude for no reason. On my way out I asked for 4 soy sauce packs for the left overs after she had gave me 1 pack when I asked previously. She rolled her eyes and shook her head in disapproval and then brought old soy sauce packs that had food all over them and were not even the same type of soy sauce packs they give with the food there. Also over price compaired to others.

Spicy yellowtail roll was excellent! Generous portion sizes and very reasonable prices. My partner said her spicy tuna roll was the best she's ever had. No avocado and the cucumber gave it a hint of sweetness. Highly recommend this place!

The rice was under cooked and the teriyaki was goopy in my bento. Bummer. The cost did not match up with the low level of food quality. The one saving grace was that the sushi was pretty good.
