I had my order delivered by Postmates which is Uber. The food and the delivery were excellent. However... they didn't include napkins. Seems miniscule, but I was eating in my car and had to improvise.... not cool after spending $40 for lunch. I shouldn't have to ask to include napkins!!!!

I feel like I’m being stingy with the stars here because we love this place and come here all the time! The service is always consistently good, the food is very consistently satisfying (quality and freshness always perfect), the atmosphere is pretty cool with the big Buddha statue, and the kids love the conveyor belt. It’s a great stop on movie nights, being next to the movie theatre, and I can’t remember ever waiting more than 5 minutes to be seated. Prices are relatively affordable, and the key word here is consistency. You know exactly what you’re going to get, kind of American diner style consistency…but with sushi. We love this place for what it is and plan on enjoying Zen for years to come. I think a more intimate ambiance and more authentic and precise menu options is what would bump Zen up into the four to five star range for me, but definitely a must try for anyone who gets a sushi craving every once in a while.

It's pretty typical for conveyor belt sushi, some items on the belt are hit or miss. The service was fantastic and the items we ordered fresh were great.

Looking forward to sushi rolls, but we always order off the menu because we worry conveyor belt sushi is too big a health risk. We ordered a dragon roll and a crab roll, yaki soba noodles, and gyoza. The rolls came very quickly and portion was quite small with 4 pieces per serving. The taste was very average. The crab roll was supposed to be spicy but wasn’t. The ginger at the table was mostly empty and didn’t look fresh. The noodles were okay and gyoza was average. We asked to order something else and inquired about whether the rolls were made to order. We were told they came from the conveyer belt if they are available. So for safety we ordered the teriyaki chicken and it took at least 20 minutes to arrive. We figured we’d take it home but it was really terrible, just chicken that wasn’t terribly lean, teriyaki sauce that wasn’t good and rice. The meal was $55, and not good. Our server was really nice and attentive, but the service can’t make up for the food.

You get what you get. It’s decent for belt sushi. I just wish they had more of a fresh selection and that that label what they are. It’s sometimes hard to pick items when you don’t know what’s in it.

My partner and I have been coming to Zen's for years and normally we really love it. Today we went after a movie and got maybe ten minutes into our meal when I realized our glasses were dirty. The inside and outside of both had multiple dark hard flecks that couldn't be removed when rubbing them, they were caked on. It really soured our appetites (me moreso as I have OCD and this kind of thing grosses me out maybe more than most), so we asked for the bill. The waitress, who I know didn't wash the dishes, still acted very nonchalant about the situation and asked if we wanted more waters when we asked for the bill. I understand not everything can run smoothly all the time but we both would have appreciated if this was taken more seriously, as dirty dishes being used to serve food and drink in a restaurant is pretty unacceptable :(

Rude asian waitress, seated us at 8:30, served another drink at 9, told us they were “closed” at 9:15. Conveyor belt Food has gone way downhill too.
