Another great visit to Hightower after a 3 year absence. Emily took great care of us -- attentive and friendly but not overbearing, and a great tasting associate to share a conversation with. Favorites were the 2021 cabernet sauvignon and the 2021 Red Mountain Reserve. Can't wait to return!

We visited Hightower Cellars as a part of our exploration of the local Red Mountain area, as we had never been to the region before (normally we go to Walla Walla). We found Hightower to be fairly decent, with friendly service and decent wines. We enjoyed the patio, but none of the wines really grabbed us as so outstanding that we had to buy some. We were, for the most part, left alone to enjoy the porch and our wines. This would have been perfectly nice for most, but I had been spoiled by our stop at Fidelitas and was really looking forward to chatting with our server about the region and wines. She was kind and good at her job, so I think my expectations had just been set too high. I mostly didn't enjoy being limited to only 3 pours in the tasting, which could only be offset by a $60 purchase. This is a bit steep compared to other places in the region, and in Walla Walla. I may come back again if we return to the region to see how the wines develop. I recommend at least one visit to this winery!

Had a great experience today for Mother’s Day… wine is excellent, the pâté plate was delicious and generous, and the view is gorgeous. Lauren (server) Kelly(owner) and another server (didn’t catch her name) were all wonderful. So was Rocky the yellow lab! Worth the drive to the end of the road. We will be back!

The kindest staff, they gave us a wonderful tour and let's us explore the vineyard a bit on our own. Grape season was hitting peak and the vino was wonderful. Red wines were a bit on the lighter side with some dark cherry notes, not very acidic. Overall would come back!
