Rare gem in Seattle area food scene. It's worth driving from the North. It really a vault for something deep inside a soul. I would like to come back for the food and atmosphere. Thanks to the chef, waiters and owners, keep on doing it. We were celebrating a birthday of our friend and it felt awesome.

The place was nice, fast service, it was not too busy. The food was average. We ordered 4 different meals and everyone agreed just ok food. I won't be back.

1-Star Review of The Vault in Black Diamond, WA
The Vault in Black Diamond, WA, was a major letdown in almost every way. The concept of turning an old bank into a restaurant and bar sounded intriguing, but the reality was far from impressive. The building itself isn’t particularly special and lacks any genuine charm or atmosphere. Although the location is decent, the outdoor seating is poorly situated right next to a busy road, meaning you’re constantly interrupted by the loud noise of passing cars, which seriously detracts from the dining experience.
The food, unfortunately, was the biggest disappointment. I ordered the Bison burger, and it was served with a cheap, lackluster bun and fries that tasted like they had been sitting in a freezer for too long. My wife ordered the grilled prawns with asparagus and Brussel sprouts. While the prawns were mediocre, the Brussel sprouts were practically inedible—so hard they might as well have been raw.
To add insult to injury, we were left waiting for 15 minutes just to get our bill. It became painfully obvious that this place is run by people who lack experience in the restaurant industry. The service was slow, and the overall attention to detail was severely lacking.
In summary, The Vault offers a subpar dining experience that’s simply not worth your time or money. The combination of poor food quality, inconvenient seating, and slow service earns this place a solid one-star rating. I won’t be returning, and I can’t recommend it to anyone else.

Our family went for lunch on a Sunday early afternoon. We each enjoyed our meals. I had the bison burger (pictured), my wife had the pulled pork sandwich, and both kids had the chicken nuggets. The 3 of them shared a pretzel as well. Additionally, I enjoyed an Icicle stout beer. Parking is free and at the time we were there was ample. Prices are fair.
