Honest review of Bay Breeze. Took my mother in law here for her birthday we ordered 2 orders of the rock fish, 3 orders of fish and chips for the kids, an order of the salmon pot stickers and I had the Korean chispy chicken sandwiches. Sadly there weren’t many people in the restaurant, but that’s Birch Bay in the winter. Pot stickers were light and filled full with salmon and filling. The burger and fries were solid. The chowder was great. Definitely a strong starter for a cold night. One of the stars of the show was the slice of sourdough bread as a side perfectly grilled and just the right crunch. These guys source their ingredients, locally and big pride and what they deliver. Definitely should consider this place.
Compared to other Birch Bay establishments, Bay Breeze is clean, light, and smells pleasant. Service was spot on and attention to detail was great. Most of all, the kitchen is going well beyond expectations! Ordering the nightly special didn’t disappoint. Most of all, I could order fish n chips with one piece of fish. The coleslaw was seasoned perfectly and the tartar sauce was brilliant (never would’ve expected a jazzed up version that wasn’t a complete departure.) Sorry...
