Food is great but overpriced. Came on new years and the place was swamped. Waited in line even though I had a reservation. Didn’t have a waiter approach our table for 10 minutes after being seated. Excellent servers though, seems understaffed.

This is my go-to restaurant in Birch Bay. Great service, great atmosphere and great food. I had the fish & chips most recently. The cod tasted fresh and the crispy batter was not greasy. The fries were superb. The service, to emphasize, was attentive and professional. I love this place!

Food was terrible. The fish and chips seemed like it had been frozen as there was a lot of liquid seeping out. Shrimp tacos just ok. The rug needs a deep cleaning as it was horribly stinky, furniture is outdated and ripped and we could hear full conversations going on from the waitstaff. We live nearby and were so disappointed in the whole experience.

It's kind of cute inside the restaurant with a beach vibe decor. The food overall was good, but not excellent. Our server was very nice though did not write down our order therefore some mistakes were. I would say this is a fine place to bring a family/kids or to grab a quick burger but not a place to expect a special experience.

We were invited out to dinner today. It it was a nice place to have dinner. Our waitress was really nice. Food was good
On 10/11/2025 we had a nice birthday party at CJ's. Megan (sp?) set aside the table in front of the fireplace for our party of 8, and it was perfect! Felt private with the fireplace and home-like decorations, and it was easy to forget we were in a restaurant. The food was great and satisfying, and the service by Megan and the rest of the staff was just right. Kudos to CJ's for contributing to a very memorable evening!

I've been here multiple times and have found hair in my food. One time and it's not great, but understandable. But it's happened the last 3 times I've gotten to go orders from here. Gross.
