We have been here twice so far for Sunday brunch. The service, food, and atmosphere are great. We enjoy the view of the golf course and beautiful landscaping. We will be back for sure.

Had high hopes for this place, location is really pretty and so are the views from inside looking out to the pond with geese and a fountain. Sadly, service was lacking. Upon my arrival, the place was pretty much empty with only two tables taken. I was immediately asked if I had a reservation,, which I did. They told me to sit anywhere. Despite being the only third table in use, it still took about 15 minutes for them to take my drink order. I ordered the flank steak, it was a pretty small plate, with a very small order of very thin / watery mashed potatoes, and a small side of broccolini. Taste wise it was about average, maybe maybe 3 and 1/2 Stars, but my potatoes and vegetables were cold. The server came back after about 20 minutes to ask how everything was, and I was basically about done. And let her know that it was okay, despite that the vegetables were all cold, and she apologized and walked away. All in all, $50 for a very small steak, cold vegetables and watery potatoes, and one glass of wine, on top of slow and lacking service, definitely would not compel me to ever return. Views outside or a 5/5 inside is a 3, food is a 3, and service is a 2. I'd average it out to about 2.5 experience. Onward to better things. Onward to better things.

Our server was friendly and efficient. The seafood chowder was amazing, and the bacon cheeseburger was a little dry for me. I will be back for the chowder. Thanks to the cook for heating up the chowder for 2 of us as it was not on the mid week limited lunch menu.

Me and my husband made reservations at 8pm since it was a busy day for them and thats all they had. When we got our seats it was not full, and we were surprised to see that. We waited an entire hour for our food and when we got the steak we had to send it back because it was totally raw and not edible, very rare, we asked for medium rare. The portion was incredibly small for the price. The waiter was ok and did give us free soup but it was so hot and then our crab Mac came right after. This was a very frustrating dining experience for a special night with my husband that we had looked forward to. Defiantly made our over all experience not as great as we had hoped for.

We had two enjoyable dinners here during our stay at Semiahmoo. The food at the GBH Grill is much better than Packers at Semiahmoo. Casual golf club atmosphere. Friendly waitstaff. Good food.

Our group of 28 had a wonderful time at Great Blue Heron Grill. The food was delicious, served promptly despite our size. Our waiter was exceptionally patient and accommodating. Plus, the views of the pond added to the overall experience. Highly recommend for any occasion!

We had a very nice Mother's Day breakfast. The food was delicious-veggie omelet, brioche French toast, lemon ricotta pancakes-and the service was excellent. I definitely recommend Great Blue Heron Grill for Sunday brunch.
