From the moment we began planning, we knew our wedding cake had to be something extraordinary — modeled after Bilbo Baggins’ 111th birthday cake in The Lord of the Rings. And thanks to Lili at L&L Bakery, it became not only the centerpiece of our “Pacific Northwest Shire” celebration but also one of the most unforgettable parts of our entire wedding.
We suspected the cake would be a highlight, but it surpassed even our wildest expectations. Guests weren’t just taking polite slices — they were going back for seconds and thirds, raving about it long into the night. We are self-professed foodies and have eaten a lot of cake in our lives, but nothing — absolutely nothing — even comes close to what Lili created. The texture, the flavor, the artistry… it was sheer magic.
Lili doesn’t just bake; she channels a god-given talent that feels rare and otherworldly. Before the ceremony even began, we made sure to get a photo with her, knowing that one day when she is superstar-famous, we’ll be able to say, “She baked our wedding cake.”

Lili did the cake and cupcakes for our wedding. She did such an amazing job with communication and setup, and the cake was so good! She was able to accommodate gluten free and pork free dietary restrictions, and those cakes were also fantastic. We had a lemon-lavender and raspberry mousse for our cutting cake and cupcakes. We also had the death by chocolate flavor as a cupcake. All of our guests loved it!

The absolute best bakery, run by the kindest people. The cinnamon rolls are incredible! My sister even makes me ship the gluten free peanut butter cups and molasses cookies to her in Idaho. The best of the best! ❤️

This location always has good vibes, the workers always great you. Atmosphere is nice as well, food always tastes fresh. Only complaint I would have is it’s just very tight parking if you can even find a spot.
The cakes, cookies, desserts are amazing. Tasty and beautiful. The coffee is not good. Decent seating inside.

Nice little bakery cafe in Blaine...atmosphere okay for quiet conversations or doing laptop work. I had the last lemon curd cupcake and it was really really good. Parking on street and lots of walkable areas of town and marina from here. A nice stop.
