After five years of living up here, we finally went to Packers to kick off our 21st Anniversary with their Happy Hour. Shannon was our server and she was fabulous. I had the Hazana Martini & Honey started with an Old Fashioned. We had the Marinated Olives with Bread & Butter, then Calamari, which was OK. I'm not a fan of tartar sauce with Calamari. Then we finished up with the Korean sauced Chicken Wings. It was a wonderful afternoon of munching, cocktails and a stunning view! Shannon was quite delightful as we chatted about mixology and the great drinks. We will definitely be regulars as its just a lovely seaside spot for good food, great drinks, relaxing atmosphere and GREAT service.

Packers came highly recommended for our mini family reunion and was very disappointing. Our group of 12 made a reservation several days in advance because we know how important that is. There was only 1 waitress for the entire restaurant, so she was trying to cover all the tables. (Had she told us that at the beginning, it would have helped a little. Instead, we were left sitting for almost 20 minutes before even getting served water.) She was very brusque and even rude when dealing with any of us. One of our group asked about a blended drink and was told that Packers doesn't serve blended drinks. When our party member questioned this, the waitress replied, "We can keep discussing this or I can get your food order." Lots of other examples, but I'll just leave that one. Out of 12 meals, only 4 didn't have a major issue. Grilled cheese sandwiches on which the cheese wasn't melted, lukewarm tomato soup, vegetarian pasta with no vegetables. The waitress never acknowledged an issue & seemed frustrated that we didn't simply take what we were given, no matter how wrong it was. She then provided a bill with multiple incorrect (always higher) charges on it. The supervisor saved it bit by providing a discount, but only after we approached her with our concerns - and we still had to point out that the discount didn't cover the incorrect charges, so she had to adjust the bill a third time... Not the experience we expected.

Expensive but a nice place to take out of town guests. Lunch menu is really limited so don't show up hungry and expect to pay over $50 each if you add a glass of wine or a beer.

Food was decent but lacked sides dishes and if there was any it was minimal, everything else was fine.

Good food, good service, and great view. Prices are high, though. $9.00 for bowl of tomato soup?

Slow service, limited menu in the off season. It wasn't busy and service was slow?

Only comment of where it could use improvement is the beer list isn’t very clear what they have. Mentioned breweries but not which beers from those breweries. Also says see server for rotating tap list. I’d rather see it in writing somewhere as the server wasn’t super knowledgeable as to specifics.

Restaurant and the resort was really cold. One night it was freezing in the resturant and they had the ceiling fans on! 2nd night Waitress really didn't want to listen. Kept cutting us off mid sentence. Food and service the first night was good. Kind of the only option for food there though. The breakfast Cafe was not so hood. Gravy with biscuits - gravy was split, biscuits were grilled or toasted (?) And burnt. Pancakes were cardboard. Had pastries the next morning. Those were decent.

The food is never served at proper temperature. Wasn't last time we are there either. Chower, and tomato soup was luke warm, toasted cheese was cold. There were only 6 people in the restaurant... Room was cold. Wait staff and hostess were professional.

Our server Mary has been our favorite for many years! STILL IS! I ordered my fav cioppino BUT once again was disappointed. Maybe 3 shrimp, 1 piece of salmon and nothing else but clams with lots of empty shells. Crab cakes are good.

I ordered the fish and chips. The fish is doughy and fries are cold. The server has a bad attitude also. Not friendly at all. We will never come back. I don't recommend this place.
