Great overall breakfast and lunch spot. The menu offers a nice variety from biscuits & gravy, omelettes & scrambles, soup & sandwich, and even some Mexican inspired dishes. The food all has a homey, handmade feel. A lot of the menu feels creative, soups seem house made, jam comes in a cup instead of a plastic packet, lot of nice touches. The bar has nice lattes and chai to wake you up or even mimosas and palomas if you're feeling like one.The staff is consistently fantastic and always accommodating. I dropped in one day with a large group of friends and family, everyone was taken care of, everyone enjoyed their food, even the kids were happy.The indoor seating area is roomy with big tables with comfy chairs. There's a small outdoor seating area too, which is somewhat dog-friendly. Staff is kind, offering treats and water too.Parking: There's lots of parking space in the back with a rear entrance to the cafe. Parking in the front is street only which can be difficult.Kid-friendliness: There's a small kids menu with a good variety of options. French toast, oatmeal, fruit cups, to name a few.

After doing some hiking, we ventured to Blaine and found Peace Arch. Excellent food, very interesting menu. Great service and location is right near the bay. Will definitely visit again.

Let me first start off by simply saying wow,this place is a deliciously mouth-watering experience in taste, the Peace Arch City Caf'e & Bar.... !We have visited Birch Bay a lease once a year for the past 4 years but had never really venture into the city center area for dinning. On this visit we decided to do so, seeking something different and we definitely found what we we're looking for.......!From the time that we walked in we felt like we we're right at home, being quicking welcomed by their family friendly atmosphere..Surrounded us completely with that I'm happy to be working here mentally, by the smiling young man located at the front counter.He happily verbally walked us through this completely different process that started our dining experience.To our surprise we we're instructed to order and paid for our food before even being seated, this was a first and definitely quite different.But ultimately we we're both surprised when our food arrived steaming hot in less than ten minutes, yep less than ten minutes....And I'm not playing the food was absolutely wonderful, the only that came close to it was the delightful service of every single member of this establishment....Everyone just seemed so happy to working there, it was so refreshing seeing something that rarely seen....!Thank you so much for making our dinning experience wonderfully and tastefully special, we will definitely be back......!

I wanted to love this place, but it was very average. I had an average coffee and subpar scone. The bright spot is I took it to go and sat on a park bench to listen to the students playing jazz music at the Blaine music festival. You can’t beat the atmosphere in downtown Blaine.
