Location is superb but cleanliness of the room, service of front desk, service of the restaurant made our stay not pleasant. We will not stay second time there as they are not upto the standard for money we paid. There is lack of supervision in that resort or there doesn't care about ordinary guests like and only suitable for big party, wedding, corporate events.

Desi APPROVED !This is a very under rated place, but there are a lot of “if”s.While booking, reading google and yelp reviews, I was very skeptical, especially travelling with a toddler, but its a wow place. Before booking, make sure its less crowded, try to book over a weekday, as I can understand how frustrating it can be over a weekend. Forget it in summer, unless you have booked way in advance. Confirm before booking if there are any events and crowd count related to the event. If they say its crowded avoid it.I just booked for a day, but try to be here at least for 2-3 nights to take full advantage of what you got.Food : restaurants are a bit pricy but eatable. Pure vegetarians plan accordingly, not many options.Pros : great pool area, hot tub, cycling, views, activities, private movie theatre, ev charging (2 slots). Nothing skeptical or unsafe. Can come with kids and desi parents as well (I did not, you can).Cons : some things are weather dependent, like cycling and fire pits. Could have had more parking. Felt a but under staffed. Convenience store items could be improved.Rooms are really good, nothing like what other people reported. I posted a picture from my rooms view, just regular view room, I did not opt for some fancy room.Overall, I recommend this place.

This is a great place to hide out by the beach and it's far away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The windows in the rooms need cleaning from the outside, but the view is beautiful!

What a garbage. I’ll start from the beginning. We came there around 5pm there was no place to park my car due to some event going on. Spend like half an hour and luckily someone was leaving so I took that spot. After we rested for some time, decided to go to the pool and hot tub, the pool is outside with doors open. Pool is heated but the inside area is cold. We forgot our life jackets for kids so I went to my room to grab them, the card wasn’t working, went back 2 times to the front desk and front desk kept giving me new cards that didn’t work. The third time around the front desk lady went up with me and guess what?! yep, the doors aren’t opening. She told me to go to the pool while they going to fix that. So by the time I got to the pool my wife and two kids were leaving because they got kicked out. Oh yeah I forgot to mention a lot of dumb rules with over reactive Karen who enforce them. No kids under 18 allowed in pool past 8, and the pool and hot tub closes for everyone at 9pm. No kids in hot tub under 6 (even with a parent supervision). So smaller kids have no way to warm up after they swam in the pool, unless you take them to the locker room. So my wife had to leave because they got kicked out, it was past 8. Wearing towels they wanted to go to the room because they were cold. Oh wait they can’t go because the doors wouldn’t open. So they went to the fire at lodge got warmed up, after a little while talked to the lady at front and luckily the doors was fixed. It was a dead battery she said.We got hungry, thought there’s bar in the “resort” but nothing here, it’s a ghost town. The area is dead after 9pm, the only thing that is open is some pizza place 8 miles away. And some gas stations with snacks. Next day went to a resort cafe to order some breakfast, needed to spent my $50 credit. Ordered coffee which was really good and served fast. The rest of my food order took an hour and fifteen minutes. Food was tasty but waisted a lot of time.I’m never going back, they called themselves a resort when regular hotel will be better option, less expensive, No resort fees and less rules. What a disappointment my kids waited for this trip and it turned out very bad.The only good thing about this place is location and nature.

Very nostalgic to bring the Kid. My family came here for a vacation within a few years of the resort having opened in the 90s.Folks complain about dated rooms. But the NE facing room on the 3rd floor have been fully updated. Last stayed here in 2017 and it's fully upgraded since then. It's 90s era seasonal resort, so the loud old frat rat couple walking through drunkenly saying it was creepy to see all the "abandoned ballrooms" to the teen worker were pretty annoying. If you want a bustling resort, come when it's not 24 degrees F.In the off season, we had the game room to ourselves, did a super fun scavenger hunt, went swimming in the outdoor pool, had a pajama movie night in the theater, and saw a load of awesome water fowl and a bald eagle.Partner worked from the room one of the days and the size of the room made this totally comfortable and doable.Walkability: Lots of great resorty stuff and beautiful scenic flat walks.Food & drinks: Packers is a good resort restaurant. Salmon and fish and chips. Their biscuits are also great.Noteworthy details: S'mores at the bonfires, scavenger hunt, beachcombing movies in the theater all great to do in the off season with folks who get overstimulated or need to create ruckus for adequate stimulation.

Well I must say that we loved it. Even after our first room didn't work out because there was no hot water, and the deck on our new room had the remains of someone's nasty, huge toenail clippings which really grossed me out, and even after the pool was shut down for repair, and even though the hot tub was drained on next day without notice we still managed to have an amazing time. Our dinner was fantastic, followed by a trip to the really cool movie theater where I left my family briefly to order deserts which we ate in the movie theater together. Why can I give it 5 Stars even after the couple of rough experiences on our first day? Because the staff and the service from that was exceptional. The resort ended up comping our room and we're very empathetic to our troubles. I just need to make sure the pool is in full working order next time before we go and I'm really looking forward to doing the Beach fires with s'mores offered for free by the resort upon our next visit.I thought about writing the holding company to try to get a free stay out of the deal, but we technically already got that and my review stays at 5* unless our next visit has troubles which I don't expect.Cheers

Our stay at the hotel was a disaster. The furnace in 2148 rattled and scared my autistic son out of his sleep. The front desk had not one ounce of empathy for our situation and told us to turn the heat off. Crazy as the room was freezing. The basic lack of human empathy and hospitality was underwhelming. This is a soulless miserable hotel that desperately needs new management and a complete overhaul to bring it into the 21st century. My family and I would have had a better experience at a Holiday Inn ANYWHERE! They couldn’t pay me to visit again.

Family and I enjoyed facilities and our stay. It's a shame that food service didn't match the beauty of this venue.Food & drinks: Food service in the cafe was horrible, two orders of burnt pancakes over cooked eggs, and my toast was burnt on one side like it was cooked on the griddle next to eggs. After speaking with the employee behind the counter, she said they were down to 1 Cook. Many other customers were complaining of wait times. This breakfast service, which doesn't even open untill 8am was not worth the pain.

The location was pleasant, but unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The services, food, pool, and hot tub all fell short of our expectations. As a group of six families celebrating a birthday event, we encountered several issues. The restaurant provided poor service, even separating our checks. The pool’s low temperature during winter led to us catching colds. Some of our rooms had malfunctioning furnaces, and the hot tub remained closed during our stay. Additionally, we found dirty towels in our room. Overall, it was a negative experience, and we won’t be returning.Rooms: Rooms are niceNearby activities: You can bike or walk around resortFood & drinks: Low quality and long line around 1 hour waiting time to give your meals

Nice place, though somewhat dated and in need of maintenance. Lobby was always chilly. Spa was great and worth a visit. We did a couples Massage and it was awesome. Beach was amazing . With a little work it could be awesome.Rooms: Rooms were nice but could also use some TLC.

Rooms: Nice rooms, water view room had a lovely view of the water. Sadly no microwave in the room, but there was one down the hall.Nearby activities: Lots of nice paths and beach to walk on.Food & drinks: Limited options for food unless you want to drive into town.
