This place is the jewel of Bonney Lake, my daughter and I’s favorite lunch spot. The food is to die for and the atmosphere is so comforting and homey. The scratch made soups, sandwiches, salads, cookies, and pies are worth every penny.

Currently in the middle of a kitchen remodel, we decided to grab takeout from CJ’s since our neighbors highly recommended it. We’re truly disappointed. Pastrami sandwiches and Philly cheesesteaks are known for being packed with meat (that’s why we ordered them), but our pastrami had a measly one or two slices, and the Philly was no better. I was surprised at the size of the sandwich for the price…over $17 for a small croissant sandwich and a bag of chips…yikes. I guess that’s just how it is nowadays…

BUT, once I took a bite, I no longer cared. I grew up in NY and struggle to find good delis here…this is by far the best sandwich I’ve had in WA.

I’ll def be back to try more!
