They got my order wrong they did offer to replace it but my group was in a hurry so I ended up eating what they gave me I never received an apology from the wait person or an accommodation of any kind and that was unusual. usually at least the person that takes your order comes back and apologizes for getting it wrong. Further, what I was served overcooked but normally this food at this restaurant is exquisite

I stopped into Alexa’s for a quiet solo breakfast with a book. The atmosphere here is absolutely charming - the lull of conversation is pleasant and not overwhelming. It gives you a sense of community. The service was impeccable- everyone was so kind. They were attentive and checked in me often. Steven in particular was wonderful. The food came out very quickly (less than 10 minutes) and was perfectly cooked and fresh. The California Burrito I ordered was deceptively filling! At first glance I wasn’t sure if I would get full - but I unfortunately had to give up the ghost on the last couple bites. Such a shame as it was so delicious! Thank you and please enjoy yourselves.Parking: There is a parking lot behind the restaurant that is quite large, and an easily accessible back entrance to the restaurant.

Experienced their catering set up today. Wish I would have snapped pictures. One salad had wilted lettuce, the one with Italian dressing was bland. It tasted like oil without seasonings. For an Italian salad I didn’t expect white mushrooms either. The potato salad was large pieces of red potatoes chopped and covered in mayonnaise. NO seasoning. I passed on the over baked peach cobbler. It was incredibly thin, my husband said the texture was not right either. The pulled pork was ok, but did not leave this southern transplant family wanting to go to the restaurant. To me, the reviews of bland food should be taken into consideration before you dine or use for catering.

The food has been consistently very good. Service was good, but had to ask for honey for tea, had to ask for refill of coffee, had to go to counter to get to-go containers. My fave is the Willows Scramble, and it comes with potatoes. Nice variety of bread to choose from for toast. Bacon changed. It used to be thick & flavorful.

Alexa’s Cafe was highly recommended by several friends who all said it was a must try. We decided to go on a Sunday and arrived about 1130 in the afternoon to a very crowded restaurant. The wait was a reasonable at 40 mins.Once seated, we were greeted by our waitress and within minutes we placed our order. On a side note: I requested that my side salad be brought out before the meal and the response from our waitress was a little shocking and came across as rude. She said she was busy and would not bring it out early and it would be served with the meal. I gave her a puzzled look and she walked away. In the end, she brought it out before the meal. Not sure why she would give such a rude response and then bring it out as I had requested…… puzzling! The food was good, but average…. nothing special. The pancakes were ok and the pulled pork street tacos were very dry. As you can see from the picture of the fruit bowl, it wasn’t fresh looking at all.Overall, I would give them 3 stars, but definitely not a must try.

Very disappointed. Nice enough place, decent prices and good service but the food was woeful. The cream of mushroom soup was inedible, basically just double cream and a few mushrooms. The egg salad sandwich was bland to say the least. We won’t be returning sadly.
