I ordered the salmon. When the waiter asked for my order, I indicated that I did not want rare salmon (and certainly not raw salmon). When the dish arrived, however, it was cooked to a medium level on the surface, but just below the surface, it was very rare -- nearly raw. I sent it back for additional cooking. The waiter was happy to take it back for further cooking. It appeared that the restaurant was somewhat understaffed at the waiter level. Our waiter had her hands full....
We went to Amaro Bistro during Seattle Restaurant Week. My burrata antipasto was very tasty. The braised pork shank was tender and excellent. The panna cotta dessert was delicious. Everyone enjoyed their food and the Cuvee B Red Blend was also great!
We frequent Amaro and have for nearly six years. It is, by far, one of the most consistent restaurants around. Their food is always delish and the service top notch. Sherman is wonderful! Great place to come with a group, as a couple or even on your own. We enjoy the bar and the bartenders when it's just the two of us. If there was one thing I'd ask for, it would be a few more salad and pizza choices. More variety is always good for us frequent patrons. Keep up the great...
