Bay leaf Restaurant in Bothell left us disappointed on multiple fronts. We went there because we saw an instagram influencer raving about the chicken pakora. Despite its spacious and sanitized ambiance you could smell the cleanliness, the rushed service and lackluster flavors made for a disappointing experience. The dishes, including the chicken pakoras, falafel (bad as you can see in the pic), chicken Tikka, and garlic nan, seemed tailored for a less adventurous palate, lacking the vibrant flavors typical of Indian cuisine. It felt like they were catering to a generic American taste rather than embracing the richness of Indian and Pakistani flavors. Combined with small portions and ok cocktails, it's safe to say this spot missed the mark. Service felt unwelcoming and rushed even if the place was empty for a Friday 5pm.

Omg finally a Pakistani restaurant that offers mild options AND has delicious food. They have happy hour every day and even sell mocktails!!! Their lycheetini is so so so good. I honestly loved everything on their menu. Their naans are baked fresh and included with the curries. My new favorite restaurant, honestly the best one in the area. I drive 30 mins out for them bc it's worth it Vegetarian options: Lots of options including both South Asian curries and Mediterranean food like hummusDietary restrictions: Offers vegetarian, GF, and alcohol free options (mocktails)Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible

Do you like amazing Indian food? It’s right here in the neighborhood. The Paneer is to die for. My favorite is lamb Biryani. Perfect dinner date. Who knew? Right here in Downtown Bothell!

This place serves very good food. Very flavorful, authentic and you can taste the freshness of the food. Very nice atmosphere and service was on top of things. Only problem was it took a little over 45 mins to get 2 plates of food. Other than that I would definitely recommend eating here.

Avoid this place. Long wait times and uncoordinated timing. I waited at the front to for someone to talk to for more then 10 minutes. Firstly they take over 10 minutes to pick up the call. Second, they said they are ready to pick up, and then made me wait over 45 minutes for my order. This place needs new management.

The food and ambiance were wonderful as usual. And the owner has really worked with younger servers and tried to coach them up. They’ve improved greatly and will continue to improve upon their performance!
I had worst food of my life in this restaurant. We ordered three different curries- kadai paneer, chana masala, daal maharani. All were so bland that we could not differentiate what we were eating.Paneer was gummy, there was no salt, no flavor nothing.No garlic in garlic naan, no chilli ni chilli kulcha. They put bell pepper in chilli kulcha for the sake of chilli. The food and quality was unimaginably bad.In starters we order aloo tiki and they literally served only tikki with some greenish chutney which was not a coriander.

Amazing find! Hubby and I were in the neighborhood around lunch, so we decided to give Bay Leaf Bar and Grill a try.We had Chicken 65, mutter paneer and garlic naan. Everything was fresh and flavorful. We ended up grabbing a couple of extra dishes to go.The owners of the restaurant were very nice and hospitable. Rani is the best!They have a private area for parties and will help set up your events.We will definitely visit anytime we are in the neighborhood.
