Beardslee Public House

Drinks were good but disappointed with the food. The Poutine, we had to ask for more gravy and the cheese curds were cold. The French Onion Smash Burger, the inside of the bun was so soggy you could scrape a layer of soggy bread off with your finger. The House Salad with Balsamic, I like a more zingy dressing and the Balsamic was very oily. Almost no taste. Had to ask for a new salad. Now that I am going back to read the menu, you also mention a 20% gratuity that the Beardslee Public House retains….so that 20% tip doesn’t go to our server? As a business owner myself I would rather see that cost put on the food (which I wouldn’t even know about if you did) so when I do tip I know it goes to the server. Not sure I want to come back.

I'll give it to you that this place is pretty expensive, but the quality of food is incredibly high and the service is fantastic. So maybe you want to splurge a little more, but I have to say the food is fantastic. Their double Smashburger is definitely one of the best I've had in months, if not years.

We always enjoy the energy of this restaurant and the comfort food choices they offer. The only frustrating thing is I signed up for the loyalty program, and was told it went through. The second time we went and spent $250.00 I was told I didn't have an account. I've tried to register and nothing but issues, but they have my email.

We were looking for a good burger and fried food. Website pictures looked great. We ordered a smash burger, chicken strips and a kids cheeseburger. Burgers had no seasoning and were sloppily assembled, fries were over salted and soggy, and chicken strips were over fried and had a lingering taste of fish (guessing they were fried in the same oil). Maybe it was just a bad day in the kitchen, but we were thoroughly disappointed for the dollar amount spent, not to mention, still hungry.

I really like this place, which makes this disappointing to write. We came in around 7pm on a Monday night and sat in the bar area. It took about 10 minutes just to get menus.

My blonde ale was completely flat and clearly bad, so I asked for a different beer. The server took it, then brought back the same flat beer, even missing a few sips. It was obviously the same drink. My partner’s French dip sandwich also came out burnt.

To top it off, the bill charged us for both beers, and the wine was listed at $20 even though the menu shows $14. There’s also an automatic 20% gratuity, so there’s no way to reflect how bad the service was. One beer was eventually removed with a casual “whoops,” and we were told the wine price was correct.

Worst experience I’ve had here and one of the worst I’ve had at a restaurant in a long time. I’m bummed because I used to like Beardslee Public House, but after this, I won’t be back.

Casual night out with friends. Sat in the bar area—service and food were both great. The jambalaya was a pleasant surprise; I'd definitely have it again.

It's a great pub house, hands down. Top notch food, service and atmosphere. Their in house brews are exceptional and varied. The food has been consistent and filling, with a good selection of apps, entrees and everything you'd want for a mixed group. Highly recommended for family, friends, or a quick business after hours hangout.

Great food an service as always! And love the happy hour prices all day Monday's. Definitely one of the best restaurants in bothell.

Great lunch! Kids and adults alike enjoyed. Jake was our server and he was super. Only reason for 4 stars as I wish they had a few more options but that's just me being picky.
