Service is good. Food was great to really bad at our table. Ambiance is a bit austere—a tired decor to me. 20% service charge but at least they don't hide it—they make it clear. One entree was comped because they simply couldn't cook it. Of course, this ruins the entire night because one of us couldn't get a properly cooked meal before the rest were finished. While comping that meal and offering another thing was a nice gesture, it was still disappointing. After being there a dozen times this was the first major fail but not sure it will be the first place I choose when considering eating out.

Had great service great food, a party of 12, which is not easy to handle specially when you have children and holiday. The Beardslee Public House always has great food so that was a no-brainer. The service was quick. It was friendly coming and going and during which is the most important partwe had a fairly newer server he made it known, but he was on point with everything checked back often everything was delivered timely and we were exceptionally well attended to. We were greeted by people who were in our waiters or hostess and also on our way out it literally was a fantastic experience for so many people on a holiday, but I would've given the same review if it wasn't a holiday it really was that good service. Add the great food and ambience, the entire party enjoyed the experience Easter family brunch 2025 fall on success thanks Beardslee Public House and thank you Alex our server.

Everything was absolutely perfect. Our servers were so friendly and the food was delicious.

The jambalaya was swimming in grease and the fried chicken portion was almost child-size. The taste was ok, but overall not worth the price.

I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional service provided by the staff during our visit. The food was truly outstanding. A special acknowledgment goes to David, Ruth, Larry, and Trevor, who went above and beyond to ensure that we had an enjoyable experience with both our meals and drinks. I cannot recommend this establishment highly enough, and I look forward to returning in the future. Thank you for your hospitality!

**** The PRICES here are INSANE. I had 4 drinks and 1 appetizer. My bill was $89. I was 'sticker shocked!' This ALSO included an AUTOMATIC 20% TIP for the server. This NEEDS to be UP to the customer, NOT the restaurant. I highly dislike this practice. It is NOT okay to just ASSUME a 20% Tip onto MY BILL. IN FACT, I would have given a 15% tip INSTEAD, because my BILL was so high! Part of it is my mistake for not seeing the prices on my drinks. But I NEVER assumed these drinks would be around $16 each. I will NEVER return to this restaurant. It should be ILLEGAL to ADD a TIP onto a person's bill. AGAIN, the customer NEEDS to DETERMINE this, NOT up to the restaurant. If I were to get bad service, I would never want to include a 20% tip. Yes, normally I do tip 20%, BUT I would NOT have done this last night, because of how HIGH my bill was. Bye Beardslee Pub.****

The food was decent for the most part, but I will never go back simply because of the mandatory 20% service fee that doesn’t even go directly to the wait staff, but is kept by the business. They include nebulous language about offering their employees industry leading pay, yet they encourage tipping on top of this fee. This is a horrible modern day practice that started around COVID and needs to die.

My family and I have been going to Beardslee for years. We love the service, espresso martinis, deviled eggs, stuffed mushrooms, nachos, steak frites, burgers, BPH salad, you name it, superb service and atmosphere! Oh, and the beef stroganoff melts in your mouth and is better than any other I’ve ever had. I don’t know if it’s the tender steak or the perfectly balanced creamy sauce.
Howie really knows how to create some unique and delicious meals! My kids always beg for the deviled eggs because they are so creamy, tangy and delicious. Every time we’ve gone, we’ve been cheerfully greeted by the front hostess staff.

Also- recently our son along with a large group of friends dined at Beardslee for homecoming. They had the kids dine in their private room and had a dedicated staff to take care of the kids. I heard they had a fantastic time. The wait staff was also kind enough to let the kids know gratuity was already included.
Whether you’re dining at Beardslee for a date night, family night or whatever the occasion is- just know that you’ll have delicious food, friendly service and superb cocktails!
P.S Beardslee’s Happy Hour is a steal!!!
If you haven’t been, do yourself a favor and go! You won’t be disappointed. In fact, you’ll be asking yourself why you haven’t been there sooner.
Also- Don’t forget to bring your growler to fill up and take home with one their handcrafted beers on tap. If you forget -you can get one or a few of their crowlers.
Please excuse my amateur photos. :). These are only a small sample of the foods we’ve had.

Kid-friendliness: It’s a perfect environment for loud kids. It’s a wide open space and loud enough that other guests won’t notice your kiddos voices.

Food was good, but very pricey. Also our server was strange. He was very talkative and kept making jokes at us like “am I smoking crack?” Which was weird and off putting. The beer was NOT good. Every brew in our flight had a strange bitter/metallic aftertaste. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend. Food was good, but seriously not good enough given how pricey it is. Also we got burgers/sandwiches…

We left paying around $170 for 3 people. 3 entrees and 2 flights of beer. That’s wild. If you’re looking to drop that kind of cash for lunch, go to a nicer place. This is just a BJs Brewhouse with higher prices and worse beer. Oh and the 20% service charge upfront stinks. Even our waiter tried to “joke” with us how stupid it is.
