Haven’t tried the food yet, review is based on service. Guy was rude when we switched from eating there to take (before he started to grab any of the food we switched). Was also rude at the end while handing us our food.
To note, we switched to ordering to go because when we pulled up, he was outside vaping and when he started grabbing silverware he hadn’t washed his hands or put gloves on. He continued to touch food containers, in and out, without gloves - so it felt unsanitary after being outside, touching the door, and touching the register.

Just stood at the front the front counter to try to place an order for 5 minutes going completely unacknowledged by 2 young employees. I understand filling orders & being stressed by clearly these 2 were stressed by a couple orders & couldn't handle anything else. DO BETTER, BECAUSE I KNOW YOU GUYS GENERALLY DO & CAN!

I’ve been here for BBQ before and decided to order a smoked turkey for Thanksgiving and it was hands-down the best turkey we've ever had. It wasn't dry, didn't need any gravy, and it had a fabulous smoked flavor that was just perfect. It 100% made our Thanksgiving dinner one to brag about and I will definitely go here for all my holiday meats.

It's October 25th, 2025 and it's just pouring rain. Accidentally finding a great a BBQ place was perfect. The food is very good. Smoke flavor throughout with sauce on the side just as it should be with Carolina style. Ths portions are worth the price. I ordered the 3 meat dinnern with pulled pork, brisket, and hotlink. All were perfectly cooked. I also ordered cornebread and collared greens for sides. I gotta tell you that I was blown away by the collared greens. Most places cook them down to mush. But these were spot on. The cornbread was moist and served with butter and honey. You cannot go wrong any of their six kinds of sauces either. The staff is knowledgable and friendly so you won't feel silly asking questions about the menu. Highly recommend checking out this gem.

I knew it, I’m stuck on Texas barbecue. I should’ve kept driving. I wanted to try it and get a big plate of Q to take home for dinner. I picked the 3 meat 2 sides plate. They were out of ribs, so that meant I had to get either the brisket, or pulled pork, or chicken, hot links. Not a fan of hot links, I chose the other 3, even knowing that I only like Texas style brisket, which is hot smoked through and through for 13 hours.
Everywhere else, smoked brisket is really a one hour roast beef with a light smoke on the outside. This was no exception. The pulled pork and chicken were good.
The owner seems like a gruff, no nonsense likable guy, who may have been a little frustrated this night.
I’ll come back to try the barbecue pork ribs some night, what South Carolina barbecue is known for, and hopefully be able to give him a better rating.
Texas Q joints are known for their peach cobbler. Honey’s in NE Houston has peach cobbler that is out of this world.
I don’t recommend the dessert I chose here. The wall menu read “peach cobbler bread pudding.” I thought that was a choice. It turned out to be bread pudding with peaches and raisins in it. Not what I was looking for.
I’ll come back some time and avoid those two choices, and we’ll see what happens.

I've had the opportunity to visit twice now while my dog is groomed next door. First, the owner- as personable as they come. Both times he has made my husband's and my experience perfect. My husband likes spice and I mean hot. He made it happen. Oofta. The food. Amazing. Last year we road tripped in north Carolina and made it a point to stop by "best bbq" places. This place beat them all. Both times we ordered the three meat platter with brisket, pulled pork, and chicken. Sides coleslaw and beans. One platter was enough for two people though if you are a big eater.. probably not. All meats are amazing. I especially love the chicken, my husband the pork, but can't go wrong with anything. Beans are a three bean mix with flavor that is outstanding. Coleslaw has the perfect amount of celery seed. NOT overpowering. Truly- it beats my mom's and that's saying a lot! I count myself fortunate that my dog needs monthly grooms because it means I can get a monthly fix of this sent from heaven bbq!

Best BBQ around. Get the Mac and cheese with your brisket or pork!

They do Thanksgiving specials as well. The whole family loved having brisket. Super easy to place your order and pick up.

No seasoning, they’re just chunks of brisket instead of slices and the sandwiches. It’s just meat and bread. They didn’t even put onions or pickles or nothing. They forgot my peach bread pudding. The meat was burnt on the ends. Macaroni and cheese had no taste. The potato salad had a taste of cinnamon. The cornbread supposed to be sweet, honey cornbread. It was not sweet. They didn’t add butter to the side, the barbecue sauce had no flavor tasted like tomato sauce.

Stopped by Carolina Smoke on a whim while heading back up to Mill Creek from Bothell today. I had been there many times before, but not since the Country Village location.

Damn, I've been missing out!

It was noon and a few people were ahead of me in line. The owner himself was working the front counter. He clearly has his following, as he already knew the people in line and what they were going to order. That, coupled with tributes to our local firefighters and military on the walls made It a real community vibe and was so nice to see. It feels good support a small business, especially knowing that they care about and give back to their community.

I ordered two Beef Brisket Sandwiches to go. You never know what you're going to get when you order to go, especially something like a BBQ sandwich - Is it going to be a sloppy mess tossed all over the inside of the box? Nope. Not here! Everything was so thoughtfully packaged with the BBQ sauce on the side. Containers that actually snap closed instead of nasty styrofoam. What really surprised me was the amount of meat they piled on top, though! They did NOT skimp. It was high quality and smoked to perfection. The saucing (I chose Burning B) had wonderful flavor. It was nice and spicy (I like spicy) so go for a milder choice if that's not your thing. Very delicious. The slightly sweet bun that it is all served on is the perfect compliment to the smoke and the heat.

The potato salad and coleslaw were fresh and tasty, too. No complaints about anything whatsoever.

I'm so glad Carolina Smoke decided to reopen. My only regret is not going back sooner but I won't let that mistake happen again!

Honestly have no idea how this place is in business still. Brisket taste old and very dry. I've also never seen the smokers running? Not good.
