The chowder was hot and exceptional. I ordered the 3 piece cod and got 5 little scraggly end pieces that were all batter ccx and hardly any fish. Then the caesar salad had rusted lettuce that looked like it got frozen in the fridge. yuk. Very disappointed in quality of the food.

I recently visited Ivars and had a fantastic experience. The fish was incredibly fresh and perfectly cooked—lightly battered and crispy on the outside, yet flaky and tender on the inside. I opted for the classic cod, and it did not disappoint. The chips were equally impressive—golden, crispy, and seasoned just right.

Ordered the fish combo and the portion size is tiny; one very small piece of cod and not many prawns that do not taste very fresh at all. The chips were raw in places. The child’s portion was not enough even for our son who doesn’t have a big appetite. The coleslaw also did not taste fresh. We would not eat here again as the food was not nice and stingy portions for the price.

Great place, love it here, been to this Ivars a few times now with my family. Fish and chips are so good, and as usual i always order the oyster and chips. Really good.

1. Fried Clams with French fries $9.99: 5 Stars – I mean really, you cant go bad with deep fried clams. Like the only thing better clams is fried clams!!
2. Panko Fish Sandwich with Fries $12.69: 4 Stars – Good, crispy, and moist fish.
3. Chowder flight (Classic clam, Red chowder, and Salmon):
-5 Stars for classic clam chowder as it was decadent, creamy, and good amount of chucks of potatoes.
-2 Stars for the red chowder… it just was meh, very little flavor, and also if its chowder, it should be thick and creamy!!!
=5 Stars for the Salmon chowder – of the three I actually thought I would not like this but it was sooo good! Creamy and not like a heavy fish taste.

Goodness, their food is too delicious, in my opinion better than the other Ivars locations. The scallops are so moist and almost melt in your mouth, and the halibut is so fresh with the perfect seasoning. Yum yum, seafood at its best!

Food was fresh and delicious (after a poor experience, food wise, at an Ivar's in Everett last week)
But I've been coming to this location for a few years now so I had a feeling that was just a one-off.
Look forward to returning soon.
