I used to come her often 7-8 years ago and I re-visited today and I was shocked how bad the food here tastes and how pricey it is considering the portion they serve. I brought 5 friends who are not Korean to have them try Korean dishes and I felt so shamed and bad for them. We ordered 5-6 different dishes (kimchi friend rice, bulgogi, pan fried macarel, dag gang jeong, sea food pancake, etc) and they were all disappointing. Especially Bulgogi (B2 on the menu) which is $40 is a real fraud. You would get more veggie and than meat basically less than total 100 gram of real thin beef slices. It's not Korean food I am telling you as I know as I was borned and raised in Korea. I don't know who is in the kitchen but it's the worst eat-out experience I have ever had last 10 years.

Had high hopes for this place given the volume of high reviews. Sadly, I was disappointed. We ordered the house combo A - it came with beef ribs, soup, mackerel, a chicken cutlet, rice and all the traditional sides. Everything came out within about 5 min of us ordering, which was a bad sign from the beginning. The chicken cutlet had clearly been fried hours before and quickly microwaved before it got to the table. It was extremely dense, cold, and dry. I didn’t eat any more after the first bite. The mackerel…I didn’t even touch. It looked days old. The short ribs were fine but impossible to chew, and felt like a choking hazard. The best thing we had was the sundubu. But paying $75 for just one of the items you ordered to be good (it was also really small and meant for one person) is very annoying. I won’t be returning.

Korea House is hands down one of the best hidden gems in Bothell. Every time we go, the food is absolutely incredible, fresh, flavorful, and truly authentic. You can taste the care that goes into every dish. The portions are generous, the quality is consistent, and everything comes out hot and delicious.
On top of that, the service is always outstanding. The staff is warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, making you feel welcomed the moment you walk in. They check in just the right amount, offer great recommendations, and create such a comfortable, home-style atmosphere that you can’t help but want to come back.
Whether you’re craving perfectly seasoned bulgogi, crispy yet tender Korean fried chicken, or comforting stews and sides, Korea House delivers every single time. It’s easily one of my favorite local spots, and I’m always excited to return.

We come here at least once a week for almost a year and get the house special for two. And two drinks. (Roughly $80 per visit) Last night 10/18/25. We were surprised by rude service and a heavy dose of shrinkflation. ( half portions ).
I think in this economy the worse thing you could do is give eally terrible service to your frequent customers. I think we won't cone back. No reason to spend $80 for reduced portions and worse service

Food was amazing. I asked for extra tofu and really got extra tofu. It wasn’t just a few extra pieces. It was a true double order.

This place has a potential to get a higher rating but for now 3 stars is fair for the following reasons.
1. Inconsistent banchan seasoning level. Fishcake (Odeng) was so sweet that we couldn't eat it.
2. YookGaeChang was delicious but very salty.
3. Gamjatang was water down so we had to simmer for a while to get the good taste. The quality of pork was great.
My recommendations are:
1. Clean the door. That's what customers see first.
2. Use less salt and sugar. Limit to a few high quality banchans.
3. Brigten the interior. Too dark for Korean restaurants.

Always love this place a tas expensive but worth it especially for the portion sizes. The meal for two can feed a family, the seafood soup is amazing with a good amount of varied seafood as well as the crispy fish: delicious.

This used to be a go to spot for me 4-5 years ago, but I went to visit recently and the food has really gone downhill. Ordered the family feast and a beef bone broth and the quality of the food was not great. The soup had a smell to it that wasn’t appetizing. The meats were overcooked and oily. The rice was dry and didn’t taste fresh. Disappointing overall.
Cleanliness (lack of) of the restaurant didn’t help with our experience.
