We had a 6pm reservation and didn't get our food until 8. 3 hour dinner for the wrong reasons, completely understaffed.

The Jamaican rice bowl was amazing amd the drinks were really good. The mojito actually had fresh lime juice in it which doesn't happen at other restaurants!
The staff are friendly and polite amd very patient with my friend who was indecisive about her choice. Definitely recommend šŸ‘Œ

Food was pretty good, upscale bar fair at an fair price if not a little expensive.

atmosphere was great with the indoor pool, and with us sitting in the bar it felt very cozy, the drinks were alright for the most part my husband ordered the mezcal Pina colada, and the mezcal was way way stronger then expected, but when we asked for a new drink they offered to comp that one and gave us a new got the new one out on the fly.

The food was really yummy I had the pulled pork samwich which was fantastic and my husband had the steak salad which he really enjoyed. And we got an appitizer of sweet potato fries which was also so good.

Our server was new, and service was a bit slow I had to call him over a few times but once you got his attention stuff was pretty quick to come out. Over all we will probably be back with friends since its so close by but not sure if we'll be regulars

Drinks were not very balanced, tasted like shelf stable fruit juices, not fresh. Food was fine but overpriced. Even with frozen Sysco food, you can add to it to make it better. Zero effort. They didn't bring waters before or after our drinks and food came out so I asked for them. The bartenders was all by himself for the entire floor by the look of it. He was very nice but that's a lot of work on one person. I have given this place multiple chances to be better but they refuse because they already have the attention of the suburbs so impressing new customers isn't as important.

We've visited The Anderson School for the whiskey bar (The Shed) & the theater. Nui Nui was our first dining experience there. It was thoroughly enjoyable. Great food (my Polynesian Ban Mi was delicious, porky & uncious). Eclectic decor added to the ambiance. I suggest you try it sometime. The Brothers have done it again 😃

At McMenamin's Anderson School! Another great McMenamin's! Can't say enough good things about this place. Drink prices are high, but the experiencd is worth it.

The customer service at the pool is amazing there’s a older lady that works there she’s always so kind and very helpful

The atmosphere was incredible if you like the Tiki theme. I got the Loco Moco and the spam and pineapple sliders, both were delicious! For drinks we ordered the Mermaid Spit and the Pain Killer, both were very heavy handed with the alcohol, which is great for most people. The pool was very warm and enjoyable. I highly recommend the Lagaoon and Nui Nui!!

It’s an elaborate tiki bar in the former Anderson school building. It’s delightful! It’s over a swimming pool, which is odd but it gives a nice blue glow to the windows. It’s a little tricky to find the entrance, but don’t give up.

Went in for a couple cocktails and an appetizer. All was wonderful. Signature tiki atmosphere was perfect. Had the chips and mango salsa. Great. Feels like a getaway to another country without the plane ticket.

We’ve been here many times before for drinks and food. The ambience is really amazing and fun and cozy. We just stopped here after our main dinner for a drink, and it’s fun to see the pool from the restaurant. If you’re looking for a fun atmosphere and a tiki experience, this is a great place to go.
