McMenamins Tavern on the Square

Great experience. The lighting esp. in the Tavern could be better, difficult to read the menu. Will be back.

Lovely, fund raising event for the locall Whale Scouts. The food was fabulous (fish&chips and oh my, red salmon with awesome sauce)

Had dinner at Anderson School's Tavern on the Square. Roasted Brussels sprouts were outstanding. Grilled chicken salad had best dressing I've ever tasted. Entree was asada style NY steak and fries topped with chimichurri. Fries and chimichurri the best. Steak on the other hand was terrible. About a third gristle, the rest cold and tough as leather. I ordered medium rare. It looked just right so it wasnt the cooking, rather just a lousy cut. Nevertheless been to T on S before, loved it and will definitely go back. Just won't order steak again.

We went for a light breakfast and coffee/tea. It was very quiet. We had a nice booth looking at the fireplace as I requested in the reservation. Our server was wonderful. She let us chat but checked in on us enough. I especially liked the lose cranberry orange loose tea. It was delicious and she refilled the hot water. There was enough tea for 4 cups during our leisurely breakfast. It is definitely our go to place for a nice breakfast for friends to catch up.

Table for 6, easy reservation. Server did a great job taking orders. Brussel Sprout appetizer was the best we have had. Prices for drinks and food were really reasonable. Salads were good. Only reason for the 4 stars were that the entrees took 30 minutes after the appetizers to get. Kitchen issue they said.

Absolutely the best place in Bothel to stay or drink and dine. Quirky spacious rooms. 6 bars and restaurants. Great outdoor lancaped areas. Free parking.

Fun place with several dinning choices and beautiful grounds. Limited parking during busy hours such as Friday and Saturday nights. A little pricey but the staff are friendly and helpful. Outside dining is nice during mild weather.

McMenamins Tavern on the Square was overall a great experience. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was fun, charming, and full of character—perfect for a night out in Bothell. While we did wait over an hour for our food, our server was very apologetic and handled the situation with professionalism and care, which we really appreciated. Despite the delay, everything else made up for it, and I would still happily recommend this spot to others.
