The staff were friendly and helpful. After we ordered our entrees they brought us a salad and a small appetizer. My grandchild (16) had the Tteokbokki, I had the L.A. Kalbi. We both rated our entrees 5/5. Atmosphere is extremely cozy and welcoming. Will be back.

Both the pot dish and the soft tofu bulgogi set were so delicious! The owner is so kind and the inside of the restaurant is clean and quiet, so it's great for family meals. I'm so happy to find a good restaurant near my house.

I love this place. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough! I visit at least once a week, and every time I go I’m amazed by their wonderful service and the incredible quality of the food. The dishes are flavorful without being too heavy or overpowering, leaving you feeling comfortable even after a full meal. They’re so thoughtful with kids, always bringing crayons and paper to make sure little ones have a fun time. All of the staff this restaurant are kind and friendly. I can’t agree with the negative review saying they were rude. Most regular customers would probably agree with what I’m saying. This restaurant feels as comfortable as being in my mom’s home. I truly hope this restaurant continues to thrive, and I feel so lucky that such an amazing Korean spot is right here in Bothell.

Very good Korean food. Pictured is the beef bulgogi Modoo Hangsan Combo. Not pictured was their Japchae glass noodle bowl, which was very good. Their Honey Garlic Chicken wings are very tasty as well. The taste on the wings are not super strong. It’s a nice subtle flavor. The chicken katsu is also a very solid dish. The food is very filling, but does not leave you uncomfortable or feel heavy. It’s a very light and comfortable full. I will be coming back for more! The staff is also very polite and are on top of their duties. The space is nice and open. Plenty of seating, and very clean. Very good Korean food.

Everytime I come to Modoo hansang, the staff are extremely friendly. The food is exceptional, with huge portions and lots of delicious side dishes. The owners gave us a bunch of specialty side dishes on the house one time.

Galbitang and galbijim were fantastic - actually I think on par with Daeho and much closer to me and much cheaper. Also better IMO than Gangnam in Lynnwood which is my usual go-to for Korean food. My friend got the tebokki and the japchae and agreed it was very good. Will definitely be back. The Galbitang broth was super good actually. Very grateful for good Korean food in Bothell, which seems like it's really upgrading its food scene.
(I moved here during covid and the Korean resto scene wasn’t the best then but it’s really been upgraded! So I’m comparing Modoo to the original San Francisco Daeho as I haven’t even been to the Bellevue one - I’m often in SF for work so I usually just go when I’m there bc I get to expense it :))
Reading some of the negative reviews, it seems some people haven't had korean food before if they're complaining about beans in the rice as that is super normal in Korean restos.
So good! Close to UW Bothell. The food was fresh and flavorful. Lots of options. So comforting on a drizzly Seattle day. Great service and pleasant dining atmosphere. We will definately be back.

Finally tried all Modoo restaurants! This is their third restaurant, located in Bothell. Modoo has been consistent in serving super delicious & authentic Korean dishes that are often unique compared to other Korean restaurant in Puget Sound. Modoo Hansang is no different.

First time and never going back. One of the worst customer service experiences I have had. Rice came and it had beans in it. One of members of our party has a bean/legume allergy. Not only did they not ask if we had any food allergies the waitress scolded the guest that had a food allergy and told him that ‘you should tell us if you have food allergy.’ How are we suppose to know your rice had bean/legumes in it? Food was subpar and nothing to rave about. There are other Korean restaurants in the area that have better customer service and food.
