It's a hole in the wall authentic sushi place with reasonable prices and big portions, serving a huge range of dishes done well. The menu features a variety of options, including sushi, sashimi, tempura, and traditional Japanese dishes. Highlights include the high-quality fish, particularly the uni which was unbelievably sweet and supple, and the pork belly appetizer. The calamari legs only is S tier of calamari's, and the hamachi was buttery. Negitoro tekka makis are always a favorite. Daily authentic specials like Toro tartare and Hamachi carpaccio can't be skipped. The katsu curry can cure homesickness in one bite. The food was flavorful but delicate, and honestly some of the best sushi had. The yuzu panna cotta was the perfect balance of sweet and tart. The restaurant is kid-friendly. With a warm and welcoming staff, Nakagawa Japanese Restaurant is a great choice for those seeking a traditional and homey sushi atmosphere.
