Nice and clean restaurant, friendly and wonderful staff, great fresh food, great prices, great atmosphere we'll definitely be back!!
I like this place.
The food is delicious!
The server was nice and the atmosphere is nice.
We ordered Chile Colorado and Pollo a la Crema with black beans on a Sunday evening.
The food came very, very quickly.
The beef in the Chile Colorado was extremely dry. There was no sauce or flavor to speak of, just tough beef in a small puddle of flavorless grease.
The chicken in the Pollo a la Crema was also very dry...to the point of being difficult to chew. It was painfully obvious that both meats had been microwaved to leather.
The black beans tasted off. We didn't bother trying the rice.
The biggest tell here was that the server did not once check in on us, even though she walked by several times (they weren't busy). We handed full plates back and refused boxes when we asked for the check and no one asked or so much as batted an eye. So they're used to it.
It was, overall, a disappointing $65 lesson. Needless to say, we won't be back.
Great Mexican and Central/South American cuisine
I was in the other night and ended up having a panic attack and fainting near the door. The staff was around me in seconds and helped me get up, they were so kind and very understanding. I’m very appreciative and always have a great dining experience at Patrona. We love to come for margs and enchiladas!
Lucky us - we found excellent Mexican food on Bothell-Everett Hwy on the border of Mill Creek and Bothell. That’s critical! We need more Mexican food.
And we need more great Mexican food. And Patrona will be your new favorite in the area.
Wow, you gotta start with the molcajete. It was outstanding, and they give you enough to go home with. That was the best molcajete, too.
They give you all the fixins and the corn tortillas were outstanding.
Add to that the delightful margaritas and you have the makings of the best mex food in the area. One week later and we’re going back to further explore the menu.
Having a house in Mexico makes it hard to find good food here. And we’re always on the hunt.
Success at last! Try Patrona. You’ll thank me.

La Patrona offers a delightful Mexican dining experience with rich flavors and authentic dishes. During our visit, we tried the Chicken a la Diabla, Shrimp with Mushrooms and Garlic, and the Meat Taco Salad, and each dish left us impressed.
The Chicken a la Diabla was the standout dish, featuring tender chicken bathed in a fiery, smoky red sauce that packed just the right amount of heat. If you enjoy a kick of spice, this dish is a must-try! The balance of flavors and the freshness of the ingredients were evident in every bite.
The Shrimp with Mushrooms and Garlic was another highlight. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, juicy, and seasoned to perfection, while the mushrooms added a savory earthiness. The garlic was not overpowering, instead providing a fragrant depth that complemented the dish beautifully.
Finally, the Meat Taco Salad was both hearty and refreshing. The crispy tortilla shell held seasoned meat, fresh lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and a dollop of creamy dressing, making it a perfect choice for those looking for a lighter yet satisfying option.
The service was attentive and friendly, and the ambiance was warm and inviting. Whether you're craving spice, savory flavors, or a mix of both, La Patrona delivers a true taste of Mexico. We’ll definitely be returning!

Like girl leave us alone. and at some point we were stared at by the workers for no reason it was super creepy!!! Anyways the food was mid asf wouldn’t recommend this place at all🥱.

If I were to leave a review based only on the food it would be 4-5 stars.
We primarily get take out and here are the things that happen to us pretty frequently.
1. We have a dairy allergy in the house hold and ask for no cheese or sour cream, this is missed at least half the time and I have to drive back and ask them to fix it.
2. One time there was a small shard of plastic in out food and when I called to notify them I got a dismissive answer and nothing else.
3. They routinely forget to include tortillas which is an important part of the meal for us.
I like the food a lot and the people are nice, I hope they are able to improve their quality and consistency.
