I used to love this place. Sadly my past 2 experiences using their delivery service have been subpar. Very delayed delivery where the food sat on the counter for an hour (their guess when I called). Food is ok to good. But… small portions and high prices - and with the poor delivery quality I don’t think l will return.

Ordered a curry for dinner. The portion was too small ( lunch container). I get a large container when I order from other Thai places.
We love this restaurant. The lady's here are the best. Food is delicious! 10 out of 10! We love the pad Thai prawns, fresh rolls, & cucumber salad. 5 star is actually spicy.

Who (sp?) our waitress was super friendly, accommodating, and sweet. I had the red pumpkin curry and my husband had the princess special. We both said that both meals were the best we’ve had in a really long time. My advice is to park in the back. Pricing is average. But everything about our experience was five stars! I highly recommend this restaurant! We will be back!

Really only rating the food as I have always had take out. But the staff is polite and professional, and the ambiance is nice. I love the red curry, pad thai, and duck. Good portion sizes that haven't shrunk as some other places have done. Bright fresh ingredients and bold flavors. Good meats and seafood. Parking isn't great, but you can't have everything.

Not your common Thai place. There are some very unique dishes that I have not seen anywhere else. Friendly service and very nice decor. The spicy tofu was flavorful and also the vegan pad see iew. A lot of the entrees can be made vegan. Thai tea was made with coconut milk.
We’ve ordered the beef salad from here many times and it’s always been delicious with nicely sliced steak. This time, though, it was completely different—we paid $17 for what felt like scraps of meat. Not sure if it was just an off night or a recent menu change, but it was really disappointing compared to our past experiences.

Chantanee Thai is a Bothell Hidden Flavor Haven!
We stepped into Chantanee Thai looking for a warm, comforting meal and left with new favorites and full hearts. If you’re someone who loves bold, authentic Thai flavors, this is your next must-visit.
Pad Thai with deep-fried tofu was a revelation. Sweet, tangy, savory in every bite unfolds a little more flavor. The tofu adds that perfect crunch, lifting the dish to something memorable and crave-worthy.
Pineapple fried rice quickly stole the spotlight. The spices, imported directly from Thailand, brought deep, earthy richness that danced beautifully with the juicy, vibrant pineapple chunks. This dish doesn’t just taste good—it tastes like a celebration.
Cashew chicken came generously loaded with crunchy cashews and well-balanced flavors that felt intentional in every bite. It’s hearty, satisfying, and exactly what a comfort dish should be.
Fresh rolls lived up to their name and were bright, crisp, and impossibly fresh. And then there was the hero of the night…
The peanut sauce. Thick, nutty, and packed with unforgettable flavor. In my humble opinion? It’s absolutely outstanding. I’d come back just to experience that sauce again, it’s that good.
Whether you’re a longtime Thai food lover or just dipping your toes into this incredible cuisine, Chanteea Thai welcomes you with warmth and flavor that speaks straight to the soul. And while you’re there, take a moment to say hi to the amazing owner and you’ll feel the heart behind every dish!

First time ordering take out from here, ordered rice, thai royal chicken curry and a Thai iced tea and was very disappointed by the food taste appearance and value. The host service was great though! The rice came wrapped in cling-wrap in a very unappetizing blob of over cooked rice. The yellow curry did have great flavor but the chicken and vegetables all tasted like they were just dropped in with surprisingly no flavor at all. If this food was half the price it would have been more reasonable but for $27 this is pretty hard to justify coming back for!

The staff are the right balance of attentive and hiding-in-the-background. The food is really close to being top-notch- but my Curry Chicken wasn't the dream in a plate I have had at other Thai places. Maybe the curry sauce needed more time to develop; I don't know- although it is tasty. My ultimate test is whether or not I could make the dish at home. I might be able to produce this in my home kitchen.

This is my go-to lunch spot. The staff are always so kind and accommodating, and they always greet me with smiles and grace. Plenty of delicious vegan options as well. The only thing that would possibly make this place better would be free wifi.
Good food, but some improvements needed. Please do not bring the check before it is asked. Please do not collect the plates before food is finished. Please don’t rush your patrons.
I used to frequent the Chantanee in Bellevue, not sure if it's the same ownership? I don't live nearby, but drive here once a month or so because I love the food! Favorites are curry pineapple fried rice, phad Thai and crispy garlic chicken. Service is always quick and friendly!
