It was a wonderful experience. The food was excellent and all the wait staff went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our meal.
Excellent all around - we'll be back for sure. Great food done perfectly and wonderful attentive and knowledgeable server - a great place to dine!
Some solid performances, some disappointments. First, the atmosphere here is very charming. I see why people go here for special occasions. Our hostess was very nice, and we were seated promptly. Once seated, we were approached in a timely manner, without feeling we were being rushed. The foccasia they brought to the table was amazing....so far, everything is great. We chose to skip the appetizer and go straight to ordering our main course. My wife had the scallops and mocktail. I ordered the double cut pork chop and a glass of Malbec. My wife's mocktail arrived. Just okay, nothing to complain about, but certainly nothing special. The waitress came back and told me they were out of the malbec, so I would need to order something different. Not a big issue, but disappointing. I asked for a recommendation and was pointed to the most expensive glass on the menu. Not uncommon, but not very informed or honest. When I declined that recommendation and asked for an alternative, she told me it was her first day and she wasn't familiar with the wine menu yet. This confirmed that my satisfaction was not the primary impetus for the recommendation given. Being unfamiliar with the wines listed I had to do a blind guess. Still having a nice glass of wine, so first world problems, but I would expect more. When the food showed up about 50 minutes later, I was excited to see my plate. From the other plates going by, things looked promising (especially the steaks). First, my wife's scallops absolutely lived up to that promise. They were delightful and the potatoes were good. The vegetables being simply zucchini seemed a bit lazy, but they worked. My pork chop was a different story. It was overcooked and dry. I also didnt feel like a good quality cut had been selected to start. To me the demiglas was salty, but I have been reducing salt lately, so that's probably on me. Overall, a nice anniversary, but I'm not rushing to go back.
Enjoyed our experience and food and service very much a little bit overpriced as far as I'm concerned
We chose Russell's to celebrate our 10th anniversary and added the comments to our reservation, but when we arrived, there was no acknowledgement until the hostess asked us “what brings you in tonight?” It wasn't until our dessert came out that our server said, a little birdie told me it was your anniversary. We don't need bells and whistles, but other high end restaurants have done a better job of acknowledging a celebration. Overall, our experience was ok, but not as good as previous visits.
First time at Russells will be going back soon, food was great the whole group was happy with food and service.
We had a fabulous time dining last night at Russell's. From the darling and gracious hostess to our wonderful in every way server, Zach, to the adorable busboy who really did put an extra scoop of mashed potatoes in our doggie box (we were kidding when we asked). The food was delicious and the servings generous but it would not have been as special without the charming polite staff! Good job, Russell!!!
My food was delicious and the price was fair, and the restaurant was definitely nice for a date night. But I really thought we were going to be in the big barn area, but that area was not available for seating. The decor had a sort of Lodge theme, but felt dark.
Great food and service as always. Would like to see the main dishes and sides on the menu change from time to time but have always enjoyed what we have ordered. Great drinks!
Tried for first time for our 44th wedding anniversary. Not that impressed, food ok. Our server acknowledged table next to us 9th anniversary but not our 44th!! She was a bit, well boring to us but animated with table next to us about their 9th anniversary. I did add our anniversary to our reservation, not acknowledged until I told our server!!! Will not be back!! Sad

First time back in over 15 years and it’s still great! It’s always surprising such a gem is tucked away in the business parks, but there Russell’s is. We came for Father’s Day and ordered an array of things: scallops, fettuccine with prawns, the duck, and both steaks as well as some salads and dessert. Everything was good. I’ve never had that style duck. I probably wouldn’t order it over the other options next time but it was good.
The food was really good! We enjoyed everything!!
We absolutely LOVED our Father's Day dinner at Russell's. We went last year and our server was so excellent that when I booked the table, I asked for him! One of the special things he did last year was share some peanut M&Ms with us - it seems silly, but it made the world of difference to our dining experience as he was so generous and so kind! Well, after dinner last night, he brought out mini bags of peanut M&Ms once again for us! Of course, we still ordered their INCREDIBLE desserts off the menu, but it was just a sweet gesture. hH also stayed past his shift so he could serve us. We tipped well as he was worth it! Also, the food is so good. This is a hidden gem and I highly recommend this place!
We're never disappointed. This is our go to for special occasions. Excellent all the way around.
This place was recommended by our VRBO hosts to go to for our anniversary dinner. We were happy we went here. Food was very good and we really liked the cheese and sausage platter as an appetizer. Our Server was very friendly and engaged us by asking questions about our wedding story, without being too intrusive. Nice ambiance in this restaurant too. I would recommend this for anyone who's celebrating a special occasion.
