Rusty Pelican Cafe Mill Creek

Crepes were soggy and bland despite being covered in toppings, bananas and strawberries were mushy and gross, either rotten or over ripe. Eggs Benedict was a miss too and the ham was way too thick imo.

Love this little restaurant! Great food, large menu, beautiful decor. Biscuits are amazing!

I stopped in for a last minute brunch and they were able to get me seated really quickly. I had the chicken fried steak and it was great! The warm bread while I waited was an unexpected, but nice surprise. You don’t see that a lot in the PNW. The service was excellent and very attentive. I will be back!

Overall a good experience, decent food, but would not return.
Was tucked in a back corner for 2 (really, table was big enough for 1) after waiting 20 minutes. Felt like the server forgot that we were her table, or she was slammed and maybe they are understaffed. After being seated, we waited 17 minutes just for her to come and greet us. It was 2p on a Sunday, so I felt like we should have been safely past the morning rush. Ordered avacado toast with smoked salmon; french toast with berries; and a side of sausage patty. We drank water. Bill was $65 before tip. Avocado toast was good but too much avocado, as per photo. Overpowering. Also, toast was burnt. French toast was good but portion was small - the actual bread pieces are the size of an english muffin and the amount of whipped cream on top exceeded the actual french toast. Service was OK - she never thanked us for coming in and basically tossed our bill to us and walked away without really making sure we had a good time. Meh.

Food was absolutely delicious! Our server, Esbehidy, was friendly, fun, efficient and made our experience that much better! Can’t wait to come back.

Esbehidy was our server today and she was awesome! She was so quick and fun, we will definitely be back and we hope to have her serve us again.

Had the wonderful Dungeness crab omelette and the butter warmer cocktail

Kind staff, clean spot, nice options okay menu. I overall appriciate this option as it’s more upscale than a sharis or Denny and adorable black and white motif.

Thanks to the staff for the love and patience they pour into there customers table experience.

I love a well made breakfast and the Pelican doth deliver! The atmosphere is also what you would expect from an upscale Cafe (don't let the name fool you - there is no rust in this place)!

Greta experience! I came about this place after searching for a new breakfast place as I was tired of the rude service from another establishment in Mukilteo. From the moment I walked into Rusty pelican I was amazed! The decorations are so modern and nice, the staff was SUPER friendly and helped and got me seated right away. ALL the food was DELICIOUS! Our waitress was great at recommending options - I went with mocha coffee and salmon Benedict , we also had steak and eggs - all of it was 10/10!!! I’ll be back!
