So cute in here! Great service and food :) Loved the crepes and thick sliced bacon and pager device tells you when they can seat you if theres a wait. Outdoor seating faces SE for great morning sun!

This was my first time visiting this restaurant. The wait took a bit longer than the 25 minutes quoted, but that wasn't a huge deal. Our server was great and the food came out quickly. I rated it 4 stars because it was very claustrophobic inside. The tables were so close together that people were knocking items off our table with their rear ends while trying to get up from their tables or walking by. I also noticed an employee staring at diners for a long amount of time waiting for them to leave. I get it's busy, but I definitely feel like this is not a place I would come again to catch up with a friend. I felt very rushed and stressed out.

Oh my gosh! Love this place. EVERYTHING, and I mean everything is BOMB here! The staff is always there. Ready to refill your water and coffee, wait tables. Like there on top of their game. The place does get packed and it gets real loud but I don't blame them. If you come here definitely try the crepes.

SOOOOO GOOD!!!I can't believe we've never eaten there! Great food and great service. The lemon curd crepes WERE TO DIE FOR. And they bring you this home made bread before your meal that is AMAZING - SO LIGHT. I've never ever had bread like that before. I cannot wait to go back.UPDATE:You know how restaurants have a tendency to start out great and then go downhill? NOT THIS ONE!!!!! It just keeps getting better! I've gone tons of times and everything is DELICIOUS, and the service is FANTASTIC. And the decor (especially holidays) -and bathrooms- show how they feel about their customers.

Shocked how rude the service was!! We have lived in the area for a long time and tried this place today. The crepes were terrible, but not just because they were wet and greasy but the fruit topped on seemed to be on their last day. Unfortunately, three out of four of the meals were crêpes so the only meal eaten were the eggs Benedict that was amazing!!! It is not our practice to ever want anything for free, but what the worst part of the whole experience was the fact that the lady brought out fruit to try to prove a point that we were wrong!! Why would we not eat three out of four of the meals?! We all came starving, and had to go somewhere else for the three people that didn’t end up eating their meal. Extremely disappointed, on the follow-through with trying to make it right!

Don’t get the crepes!! Atmosphere is great and clean. What started out as an extremely positive impression - comfortable booths, clean and friendly atmosphere, ended in a horrible experience. My wife’s Dungeness Crab Eggs Benedict was the only good and fully devoured thing from all four of our plates. The crepes were absolutely awful. Go to the “Original Pancake House” down the street or even an IHOP if you want crepes. You can tell the bananas were “ripe”, (like fully brown peels, mealy and mushy) and the strawberries were frozen and then microwave-thawed, so as to be completely void of all flavor except for the freezer burn bruises. Somehow, they were sour, spoiled and spongy tasting. The crepes - even my daughters plain crepes - were oily and wet. They put whip cream on them instead of powdered sugar like the menu called for (I had to ask for the powdered sugar and removed as much of the whip cream as I could but sadly, my daughter who has an issue with texture was “done” and wouldn’t eat it. I’ve got bigger problems with that, but had to laugh when she said no amount of powdered sugar would “dry her crepes up”). All of this would have been excused if they just did the right thing, like maybe comp’ing our three plates or offering us something else after the hour went by that we hadn’t eaten, but service was super slow to check in on us and even if they did, we didn’t have any time to stay for a second round. There were 3 parties (2 of which were the same size as ours) that came, ate, paid and left while we still didn’t have any checkins (except for the abundance of coffee fillers). When our server finally did come back, I politely and discreetly told him that the crepes were wet and the fruit was spoiled, motioning to our still-full plates in an effort to try and explain why we haven’t eaten anything since we last saw him). He just retorted “oh, the crepes weren’t to your liking, sorry about that” and came back with our bill. We never saw him again. Our bill folder sat with our credit card sticking out of it for 10 minutes. I assumed it was because they were maybe trying to figure something out and make this right for us - they’ve got a decent reputation for service after all. Instead, a lady came back to us to collect the bill, completely unknowing of the situation. So I whispered to her and briefly shared our experience and my assumption - perhaps that our waiter was still talking to a manager to see if something could be done for us. She said she’d check on that and took our card ….and fully charged us in the meantime. My family had to retreat to the car at this point because my daughter was on the verge of a meltdown, starving from having not eaten her meal (the soggy plain crepes) and feeling really bad about it. So I waited. Finally, another different lady came out with a tiny bowl of fresh (yellow peel) banana slices and 2 (still clearly microwave thawed) sliced up strawberries and proceeded to DEFEND their fruit with different fruit that wasn’t on my plate instead of comp’ing those three meals. I think she she was going to offer me this tiny bowl of fruit after the fact that my whole family left, as if that would somehow make it all right?!? I couldn’t get over the fact that they tried to defend their fruit rather than take our table of uneaten food after an hour and a half as indisputable evidence that we weren’t satisfied or taken well care of.. The end result was $83 for one Eggs Benedict order, 2 orders of slop strawberry-banana crepes where one resulted in a seriously upset stomach and the other was picked at with a fork in search for a good bite and instead went straight into the trash, a completely uneaten meal, and a side bowl of uneaten sliced (sour) melons. …. What was a lovely atmosphere in the beginning is now just smoke and mirrors. We’ll never go back here.

Rustic pelican cafè is a nice place for having meals, either breakfast or lunch. I usually go there for breakfast so far. When we enter the Café, we'll be welcomed by friendly waitresses. I ordered combo duo (French Toast and 2 eggs plus 2 links of sausage). That's my favorite meal whenever I go there. I enjoyed having my brunch or lunch with their atmosphere, fashionable, classical decorations, and giving us more relaxed while eating. I must admit that their foods are so good???, I'm not sure if because of that make their prices are a bit high compared to other places? Overall..if you don't care about the price, so it's the best place to go and enjoy their good foods, good services and romantic atmosphere as well?.. !! :)

Staff is rude, the waitress didn’t come around much and, when it was time to go she was nowhere to be found. I asked for a receipt from a lady cleaning the tables, I think she was the host, she ignored me, or I thought she ignored me. I waited a few minutes and went to the front to ask the person standing there if I could get a receipt. I was having breakfast with my grandma, so I wasn’t in a rush, but just wasn’t sure if the host was going to get it. The person standing up there, I think he was a manger, snapped at me that she was getting it. I stopped and stared hard at him, cause why are you talking to me that way? My review doesn’t matter because this a chain restaurant and who cares right ?? I just want people to know, you suck at your jobs, and they are eating at an overpriced IHOP.
