I was disappointed with my recent visit to Samburna Indian Restaurant. The Mysore Masala Dosa lacked flavor and the crispness you’d expect, while the veg Uttapam was underwhelming and tasted undercooked. Unfortunately, neither dish met expectations in taste or quality. The service was adequate, but the food left much to be desired.

Every time I eat dosa /uttappa here, I feel extremely bloated and experience heartburn. Not sure what is used in their batter , it tastes good , I really wanted to like the experience as staff was very nice but after an hour of eating from here , I experienced the symptoms twice here.

Good dosa and biriyani, cozy restaurant and friendly staff. Decided to visit because I live nearby and Eater called it one of the 20 best Indian restaurants in the Seattle area. The menu is expansive and there's a wide variety of items that look delicious.

We ordered Nattu Kodi soup, Paneer masala Dosa, Ghee masala Dosa, Chennai style biriyani, filter coffee. Staff and service were good. Price was reasonable.

All dosas were a big let down. I came here craving for a good South Indian taste, but was very disappointed. Instead of adding ghee and making the dosa crisp, they made it crispy without adding ghee. The result was a charred taste. If sambar and chutney was good, that wouldn’t have been a problem. The sambar was not tasty, coconut chutney was cold as if taken out from fridge and tomato chutney was horrible.

Lastly there is no separate hand wash area. Only one restroom for men and one for women.

I had disappointing visit to Samburna tonight around 6:30 PM for Dosa Night. We arrived early, hoping for fresh food, but what we received was cold and clearly leftover from the morning—especially the sambar, vadacurry, and khichdi. The dosa tasted like it was made with refined oil instead of butter, and after eating, both of us felt acidity and discomfort. This experience shows a lack of care for quality and customer value. If Samburna can't maintain standards, they shouldn't offer Dosa Night. I don’t recommend it.

I have been to this place multiple times.they serve one of the best Dosa Samar and chutney. One of the best in this area.

Everything was so fresh and tasted incredible. We had that polak panner and porrotta. The staff was attentive and checked in throughout the meal to make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our dinner. We look forward to coming back to try more of their authentic Punjabi dishes. Highly recommend any of their breads though. You will not be disappointed
