My family has been going to Spartas for over 20 years. The food is so good, staff always super friendly. These guys helped get us through the pandemic! Their pizza is the highlight!

The pizza here is excellent. fresh ingredients, flavorful sauce, and cheesy. However, the prices are hard to justify. I spent over $100 for two medium pizzas and one small one-topping (one with gluten-free crust, one specialty), and this was for pickup, not delivery without tip. While the taste is top-notch, the cost feels steep for the portion size, and I’d love to see more reasonable pricing to match the quality.

The pizza dough was incredibly soft, and the spaghetti sauce was delicious. This is the best Italian food in the neighborhood. I’ll definitely be coming back!

The restaurant's neighborhood atmosphere is reminiscent of a classic sitcom setting. The kitchen staff, primarily young employees, demonstrates strong teamwork and communication. Our order was accurately fulfilled; however, condiments should be proactively offered, and perhaps bread could be sliced thinner. I do feel it's a bit pricey for what the menu offers. The salad was completely bruised, there was barely any dressing on it, but it was a fifteen-dollar salad without any meat or cheese. They should probably put some time into developing an actual appetizer menu because the $15 salad was not justified. Beverage refills would also enhance the dining experience, so a few misses on standard serving practices. The food was alright, particularly the tiramisu was the best part of the dinner, it was among the best I've encountered in the PNW. We plan to return.

I highly enjoyed my evening at spartas!! This has been one of my favorite places to go as long as I can remember. My server went above and beyond to accommodate my group!

Extremely disappointing experience — disrespectful staff and no accountability.

We were a group of 9 dining at Sparta Pizza in Bothell. Initially, we enjoyed the food, but then things took a very upsetting turn. A couple of us follow a strict vegetarian diet due to our religious beliefs — consuming meat is not just a preference but a serious violation of our faith.

To our shock, we found meat in a baked spaghetti dish that was supposed to be vegetarian. This was deeply distressing. We informed the staff and, understandably, chose not to leave a gratuity.

As we were leaving the parking lot, an employee came out and told us we were banned from the restaurant — without any acknowledgment of their mistake or an apology. We had children with us and chose not to escalate the situation further, but the disrespect and lack of accountability were appalling.

Mistakes can happen, but how a business responds is what matters. In this case, Sparta Pizza failed completely. I would not recommend this place, especially if you have dietary restrictions or expect even basic respect as a customer.

The place was fine but the staff was really arrogant and angry. I just want to write my experience so you all can be aware before visiting there.
It is one of the baddest experience for us.
Our group was vegetarian and they served us meat and when we disputed that they didn’t even have any regrets.
On top of all this when we were in parking one of there staff member came outside and he started shouting on us for not giving any tip and said that you guys are banned here , never come here and used abusive words and language on us after this he shut the door on our face . We had two small kids they got scared alot with this incident and said they don’t want to go outside to eat ever.
On weekends we all like to go outside eat and enjoy with family but for sure this is not the place for that. It has angry and arrogant staff which is not safe for families.

I usually enjoy ordering from this place, but this time I was very disappointed. I found a hair in my pizza, which is unacceptable. I hope the restaurant takes more care with food hygiene in the future.

Giving old menu with old price and charging with a new price is not right!
Get rid of all those old menu if the prices have changed.

Only problem was is they said all the pizzas work could be gluten-free. Then when we ordered it we were charging an extra $5 they should have that on the menu I didn't have enough money with me to pay $40 for a gluten-free medium pizza. Thank goodness for a credit card very slow and getting our check to us forgot About Yes and I waited forever. People were very nice however and answer the questions and deliver the pizza I was thinking a thicker crust they should let you know if it's gluten-free it's not going to be thick and to know about the $5 extra charge was known on the menu.
