Been a few times and was never disappointed. It's a typical, no fuss diner. Nothing comes on a brioche bun or delicately laid to rest on a bed of arugula. Eggs, toast, hash browns, etc... Good prices and good food.
Excellent, low key, old school breakfast spot. Very quaint. High quality. They have a good meat supplier. Try the sausage patty. Makes my day. Bread is from the Hillcrest Bakery one block away killer light rye. Love having a quiet delicious breakfast here.
This place is great for a quick cafe style breakfast. Don't expect anything too fancy, if you want avacado toast go next door to Alexa's. Steve's is easy on the wallet and doesn't skimp on portions.
