I used to love this place so much but I genuinely had the worst sushi experiences of my life. I was on a date and I decided to order a salmon lemon roll. It came with mayonnaise but I asked for no mayonnaise and the server reassured me it wouldn't come with it. Then my date asked to be surprised with a roll for fun and I asked if the surprise roll didn't have shrimp on it. When the food came out my roll had extra mayonnaise and the server brought out a shrimp roll. She didn't seem to care when I said I asked for no mayonnaise or a shrimp and proceeded to ignore me and my date the rest of the time we were there. I didn't want to escalte anything so I tried to scrape off the mayonnaise but I ended up violently throwing up after eating there and got the worst food poisoning of my life. I will be never going there again because life is too short to not go to any other sushi place in the world if this is the experience you will be getting at Sushi Zen.

Absolutely amazing sushi experience! The fish was incredibly fresh, and every sushi roll was bursting with flavor. We ordered chicken Karaage ( very tasty) , Polar Bear Roll, Julia’s Roll, Salmon and Tuna nigiri- all were very delicious. To top it off, our waitress Saki was fantastic—super friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend!
I loved this place. The hostess and the chef were both so nice and the chef made it a point to check in to see how everything was ( I was at the bar) I was seated almost right away( it was not busy though). The food was excellent. Excellent flavor and spice. The portions were great and so yummy.
Its a bit pricey, but totally worth it if you are in the area 😋
