Food was mid, seemed less seasoned and sweetish.
Bring your own tea bag if you want hot tea. Their “barley” tea was awful. They could offer hot water and tea bags and charge for it. The food was very good.

Some of the best spicy chicken teriyaki I've had up here. The pico de gallo was a great addition as well as the sauce that came with it. Cilantro sauce? It was good.
Also, a friendly person came out with some complimentary sesame seed balls, and they were delicious. We ended getting some more to go.

I tried the Spicy Chicken and it was delicious. The young lady taking orders was nice enough to suggest the cilantro dip to use on my spicy chicken and it did not disappoint. Their service is top notch and the food is really good. I will be back to try another item on the menu the very next chance I have. Thanks you!

This place provides dishes with their own unique twist of flavors that you most likely have never tasted. The staff is amazing and welcoming with a good taste in music. Price is fair for the huge portions you receive. One of those places you go back to weekly.

If someone were to ask me what I would want my final meal to be before I die, I would place each of the menu items from Ta Joia on a wheel and spin it... happy with any result. Each dish is unique in its own way and full of flavors that complement each other extremely well.
These people love food, and they know what they are doing! The staff is attentive, friendly, and welcoming. Come hungry, leave happy!

Consistently delicious food that is always served in a timely manner. Very welcoming and considerate staff that clearly hold themselves to a very high standard. I’ve been eating their fried rice and spicy chicken several times a week for several weeks now and have never been disappointed, it’s my go-to lunch / dinner during my breaks at work. I always leave satisfied and hear a friendly “have a nice day!” as I leave.

Their slogan is "Teriyaki With a Twist", which is too cool!
Tracked this place down both because I'd been craving teriyaki chicken, and for the feijoada discovery. Couldn't from the two so I ordered both. Didn't try the well-reviewed and famous spicy chicken this time... but will definitely come back for it.
Had the House Chicken Bowl instead, with a side salad. The chicken was oh so moist... and the teriyaki sauce was light with just the right sweetness.
I also ordered a Feijoada Bowl with a side of Crispy (Katsu) chicken for $4 more. The katsu was quite sizeable for a side portion, and there was an accompanying cole slaw dish that had a very refreshing vinegar acidity... it wasn't cloyingly sour, but it complemented the feijoada very well. Lastly, the feijoada was just right... not overly salty like others I've tried, and the ratio of meat to beans was also on point.
Was really pleased to visit this spot. The ambiance was great... the workers seemed like they were from the same family, and the daughter mentioned to me that the Brazilian dishes were learned by Mom the chef.
Loved the food and the vibe. Hope to return soon!

Incredible spicy chicken. Tender meat, seasoned well, solid portions. Not sure why anyone would go to any other place for spicy teriyaki. Looking forward to trying their other options.

I ordered the crispy tofu thinking it would be seasoned in some way, and it was $18 for just plain, deep fried tofu with a side of plain white rice. Maybe other things on their menu are good, but this was incredibly disappointing.
