My friend took our group to this place while visiting Seattle and this is hands down some of the best food I’ve had in a while. Every dish was flavorful, and the cilantro sauce was insane! The shrimp was so succulent, the fried rice was addicting, the spicy pork was tender, the chicken wings were fried to perfection yet still juicy, and the spicy pork with rice cakes had such a deep cumin flavor. The vibes of this place is so cozy and welcoming, and the staff were nice and accommodating. One of the workers, Christine, was so kind and kept checking up on us to make sure everything was going well. The mom/owner of the restaurant was also so sweet, coming out to talk to us and gave us and everyone else dining in some free Haagen Daaz ice cream. I love this place and will come back everytime I’m in the area!

Such a good first meal in Washington. Everything tasted amazing. We ordered the grilled shrimp, galbi, Joia fried rice, spicy pork with rice cakes, the house chicken, plus a few other dishes. Christine made the experience even better. She was friendly, helpful, and checked in at all the right times.
The cilantro sauce was unreal. I wanted to pour it on everything, and I honestly could have finished it by itself. If you go, order the teriyaki chicken and the spicy pork. Both stood out the most. I will 100% come back the next time I’m in Washington.

Flew all the way from San Diego for this place. One of the most unique fusion style resturant’s. My friends has an amazing time here the food was DELICIOUS especially the short ribs and the friend wings. Major shoutout to Christine for showing so much love to the food and warming service! Will definitely be flying back haha 😆

Ta Joia is the best! If you’ve never eaten there, it’s an absolute must. It’s family owned and has been in the Bothell/Canyon Park area for over three decades! I grew up eating here and now the daughters have taken over, the family is amazing. The atmosphere is amazing. And the food is the best! If you like eating real, clean, good food. If you care about the food that goes into your body, if you like eating healthy, if you like things that taste amazing. This is the place for you!

Best teriyaki on the planet. Rarely leave reviews but I would say hands down, my favorite restaurant. You have to get the cilantro sauce. You can't find a spot that's like this and as unique as ta joia. I have recconended this place to A LOT of friends
