We had the salmon and tuna poke which is my favorite, and house fried rice with pork. The food is fresh, made to order and spiced perfectly. The poke was large and very filling, accompanied by a spicy poke sauce which brought the poke bowl flavors to another level entirely.
The house fried rice was piping hot when we received it, not greasy like many other restaurant fried rice, with peas and carrots mixed in. Only a hint of soy sauce allowed all the other flavors to shine. The pork was sliced thin, nicely seasoned and grilled to give it a super tasty sear, and generously mixed in with the rice.
Ta Joia is clean, bright, and tastefully decorated with a warm and pleasant atmosphere. The staff is bright, bubbly, and genuinely happy to see you from greeting to food service.
This is definitely one of my favorite Washington restaurants that we will be visiting again and again.
Returned 10 months later and the food doesn’t disappoint. Soooo good!

Bothell’s Ta Joia isn’t your sleepy strip-mall filler—it’s a technicolor veggie parade disguised as dinner. I ordered bibimbop, spring rolls, and the feijoada bowl, which felt like a samba in a rice bowl. It’s the rare spot where “eating your vegetables” is less a chore and more a sly dare. Flavor bombs everywhere, and suddenly I’m craving greens I never cared about. That’s Bothell magic.

Bring your own tea bag if you want hot tea. Their “barley” tea was awful. They could offer hot water and tea bags and charge for it. The food was very good.

Some of the best spicy chicken teriyaki I've had up here. The pico de gallo was a great addition as well as the sauce that came with it. Cilantro sauce? It was good. Also, a friendly person came out with some complimentary sesame seed balls, and they were delicious. We ended getting some more to go.

I’ve dined in and have done take out. Crispy chicken, house chicken, spicy chicken are our favorites!
I tried the Spicy Chicken and it was delicious. The young lady taking orders was nice enough to suggest the cilantro dip to use on my spicy chicken and it did not disappoint. Their service is top notch and the food is really good. I will be back to try another item on the menu the very next chance I have. Thanks you!

This place provides dishes with their own unique twist of flavors that you most likely have never tasted. The staff is amazing and welcoming with a good taste in music. Price is fair for the huge portions you receive. One of those places you go back to weekly.

If someone were to ask me what I would want my final meal to be before I die, I would place each of the menu items from Ta Joia on a wheel and spin it... happy with any result. Each dish is unique in its own way and full of flavors that complement each other extremely well.
These people love food, and they know what they are doing! The staff is attentive, friendly, and welcoming. Come hungry, leave happy!
