What the Pho - Canyon Park

Extremely poor customer service ever! Never such a bad experience. We asked for extra plates and the server refused to serve the food entirely what we ordered. Not only that the guy taking the order just went to take the phone call in middle of taking our order. What makes it even more horrible was, we had taken out 3 kids for lunch and ordered got amount good amount of food. Horrible customer service!

The pho was very good, flavorful broth. We had to get the attention of the waitstaff, for water refills, to get our check. The waitstaff was on his cell phone.

We had lunch at What a Pho, and it was an overall mixed experience. The pho was decent, but the Banh Mi didn’t quite meet our expectations. The restaurant was quiet and the service was okay, though there was a slightly unusual smell that took away from the ambiance. I am not sure if I would return, but I hope they can improve.

I ordered a banh me sandwich and the wait time was long. Plus the guys didn't tell me sandwich comes with the fries and I ended up paying extra money for taro fries. Not gonna go back

Very yummy food. We ordered shrimp tempura and shrimp fried rice. Very quick service. The person is very polite and the portion of the food was enough for two people.

I visited this restaurant on October 19, 2025 and experienced fraudulent charges. The prices on the receipt were consistently higher than what was listed on the menu—for example, an item listed as $14.99 was charged $15.59, and this happened with every item I ordered.

But there was a major issue with tips. I signed the receipt for a $6 tip with a total of $69.45, but later my credit card was charged $73.45, effectively almost doubling the tip.

When I called to resolve the issue, the staff refused to refund me unless I drove back to show the receipt (but they took signed recipt), claiming they destroy receipts immediately. But I have clear photos of the receipt showing the discrepancy. They also falsely claimed they cannot process credit card refunds.

This is fraudulent behavior, and I strongly caution others to be careful when ordering here.

Solid pho, the regular was enough to satiate me fully! ice coffee was very good (and pretty big!). Service was very simple and sweet, my husband and I enjoyed a nice relaxing lunch ☺️

Great tasty food whether you like hot soup, grilled wok or a cold healthy salad. They even have tasty Banh Mi sandwiches!! Service is lightning fast. Bring your sweatshirt though because it is often cold in this restaurant.

Service is really bad. Asked for extra bowls so that the group can share and they declined to provide. They said every bowl is in the washer. They could have come up with better excuse atleast. Very rude staff. Not going back to this place. I will take my business elsewhere

Their food is just average. It has occurred two consecutive times to us that they charged more than what the receipt was. We had to call our card issuer to get the money back.
They don't deserve to exist.
