I ordered a salad was not given an fork. Guess I was supposed to eat it with my hands. Service was not good because there was barely any. Had to go to the bar to order a drink food was ok.

This was my first time trying Purdy's BBQ in Buckley and I was pleasantly surprised! The brisket was tender, the pulled pork smokey and delicious, but the surprise was the meatloaf. This meatloaf is one of the best I've ever had! For the sides I got hush puppies, potato salad, and the brisket chili and they were all fabulous as well. I had to try the smoked sausage sandwich and it was also very excellent! Will be back for sure!!

Meat was ok, but dry. Good BBQ doesn’t need sauce, this needs sauce. Sauce wasn’t anything special.
Best part was the brisket chili, added into the Mac and cheese. Mac and cheese was thin. Hush puppies didn’t have any flavor, maybe frozen…
Atmosphere is just ok, it’s a bar with some kids running around while people talk loudly about weird shit.

The food here is delicious. All of the smoked meats are worth a try. Go for the armadillo balls and hush puppy appetizers first. Lots of screens to watch the game. Just wish it was a little bigger and had more arcade games but the pull tab games are pretty fun.

We really enjoyed our late lunch with a couple of nice IPA pints. Pulled pork & beef brisket were tender and offered with an excellent selection of sauces. Hush puppies, coleslaw and chili were wonderful sides.
