Avenue Catering is a hidden secret! We were about out of choices and were wondering what we should do differently. Then we happened to stumble across their information. What a God-send! From the beginning of our communication with Lisa, with all the way thru packing up our leftovers, this company is phenomenal. Lisa guided us thru the whole menu choice selection -mixing and matching whatever we asked for, to deciding on a delivery method--we chose to have them deliver, set-up, and serve, all the way to accommodating our request for certain colors for the table linen and uniforms.
She was prompt in responding to our emails, sent proposed timelines -- allowing for a little give and take, suggested best practices for during the event, and broke all the information down to the tiniest detail for those of us who need that sorta thing!
On the day of, the team arrived in the requested matching color to our theme along with all their matching linens - how wonderful they are, every last one of them!!! They then quietly disappeared, went to set everything up so beautifully, and then waited patiently during the lull. They served all that deliciousness with kind smiles and gracious attitudes. Our guests loved all the food choices offered, so much so, there were hardly any leftovers. Those ladies were all so sweet and thoughtful, and made our journey with Avenue Catering an absolute pleasure. Their prices are much more reasonable then other local competitors, with flexible menu choices, easy payment options, and the best customer service.

We used Avenue Catering for our recent wedding, and I couldn't be happier with their service. We did a drop off Catering service. The food was delicious, and arrived on time for our guests. On top of amazing food, they have amazing communication and were very helpful when we needed to change our options close to the day of. I would recommend!

Ordered a meal for 5 not only was it delivered to my home it was so fresh and delicious. Plenty of food for us we even had leftovers.

Working with Avenue Catering was an absolute joy for us. Our contact, Cindy, was so easy to work with and communicative via email. If I had any questions, I had an answer by end of day. She met us out at the venue to help plan the set up, and the day of her team just knocked it out of the park. Our ceremony coincided with their arrival time and I never even noticed they were there because they took extra care to be as quiet as possible. And our Bridal Taco feast with salad and chips and guacamole was amazing! People were raving about how amazing the food was for days afterward! My only regret was not going back for seconds haha!

Avenue Catering was the perfect choice to cater our recent wedding. Our point of contact, Cindy, was fantastic to work with leading up to the day. She was so prompt and informative in her emails and worked with us to create a menu that was perfect. The customer service didn’t stop with Cindy. The crew that served the food was so kind and polite. They even helped bus plates and helped set up our cupcake tower! The food was absolutely amazing! From the first tasting we knew we had made the right choice. We had lasagna, chicken Provençale, and a vegan/gluten free lasagna for entrée options, and all were delicious. Everything was a hit and our guests are still raving about how great the food was weeks later!

It was such a pleasure having Avenue Catering at our venue for the first time. I was super impressed with their beautiful setup and the food was so amazing- I am still craving those fabulous chicken crepes. All of the staff was super nice- always a plus!

They catered our wedding last month, and I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome. They were very quick to respond, and accommodated us on so many areas, especially with the several changes that occurred due to covid. Our guests all had great things to say about the food, and I could honestly say that they made our day very easy. Not all weddings go as smoothly as you envision it to be, which was the reality for us. However, we are forever grateful for their quality of service, flexibility, and the work put in by the staff that evening. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

We hired them to do a 70 person rehearsal dinner at Brickworks on Friday Harbor. My son and his fiancee later hired them for the wedding reception the next day because they were having trouble finding a caterer. Fantastic food. Very reasonable prices. Great service. Very responsive to emails leading up to our event. That was important since we were 1,800 miles away. Very highly recommended.

I am SO glad that we found Avenue Catering for our Orcas Island wedding! They run a busy and thorough operation, and their passion for food and creating a memorable experience comes through from the moment you meet this wonderful team. We loved being able to sample a wide spread of their most popular foods during a monthly tasting, where we were able to start piecing together options for our menu. They made great menu recommendations and were incredibly flexible when it came to customizing the menu to meet our wants and needs, and we had many - our vegetarian, nut-free, and gluten-free guests ate well too and were so happy! As our wedding approached, Cindy and her team were responsive to our questions as we sorted through last minute details (e.g. rentals, bartender, napkin colors, schedule, staffing needs, etc.). The entire staff that was on site the day of the wedding was friendly and professional, and I dreamed about that delicious meal for days after! Avenue Catering played such a huge role in making our celebration that much more special. They are no ordinary caterers - make sure you make time to eat this meal!

Great staff and quality

I don't even know where to begin with Avenue Catering! First, I sprung my catering request only a month before our wedding. My husband and I were originally going to go with a courthouse wedding but decided at the last minute to do a small intimate wedding at my daughters godmothers venue. I spoke to both Anna and Cindy my entire catering journey and they were both amazing. However, Anna was exceptional and accommodating with every aspect. She made me a proposal and asked where guests were coming from so she could get a better sense of what we should serve. She suggested salmon, flank steak and chicken alfredo for our main dishes and Caesar salad and roasted potatoes for our side. The salmon was perfect with a orange maple glaze and the chicken alfredo was absolutely the best (I highly recommend it). Anna had to rewrite my proposal twice due to some changes but she did it in a prompt and timely manner so accommodations could be made for payment. Their payment portal is easy to use and you can even pay over the phone if you wish. Anna was so personable and sweet. Between her and Cindy I had no worries at all for my special day. They even put our leftovers in boxes and were helpful when a couple guests showed up late. They set up and packed up quickly. It felt like family instead of a catering company. My venue owner (godmother to my girls) even shouted them out on her wedding website!
