El Gitano Mexican Restaurant

Chips were hard and stale, salsa very salty, had a margarita with rotten fruit, chicken tostada gross and thousand island sour the steak in burrito was tough, my son who never complains didn't want to eat the burrito, both plates were hardly eaten with no response from the loud bartender who served my drink in a glass like a martini would be in, just really bad

What a treat! We were up from Seattle and after finishing our shopping looked around for a Mexican restaurant. We just happened upon El Gitano and struck gold. The homemade salsa and chips are outstanding, and each of our meals were exceptional. Staff were all friendly and warm, and the decor was beautiful. We bought salsa to take home!

Food was not good.
We ordered beef nachos and didn't find any beef hardly any cheese and the chips were old and stale .

Went here on a lark...and craving some Mexican food. The outside was well maintained and beautifully painted...looked inviting! Same care on the inside, a real treat with all the painted chairs, etc. We were warmly greeted by our waitress, who helped make this visit. The chips were warm, crispy and not oily. The salsa was outstanding with a myriad of flavors. Our meals were not only wonderfully delicious, we had plenty for a second meal at home. Kudos to the chef. This is a place we will go to again...as they have an expansive menu. Made many points with the wife.

Great Mexican food. I have the Pollo a la crema and it was delicious. The waitress is exceptional....she remembered us on our second visit 4 weeks later. The decor here makes you feel like you are in Mexico. It's beautiful ? This one will be on my regular list of restaurants to eat at.

We had Sunday morning breakfast here and it was nice. My husband had the lamb and LOVED it! I can't remember what my dish was called but it had things steak with onion and pepper, my only complaint is that the meat was a bit overcooked for my liking, overall great experience! I will go back again
