This is a very nice Mexican restaurant. They have a section of vegetarian dishes on their menu that can be made vegan by removing dairy. My partner had the vegetarian taco salad without cheese and sour cream. I had the tofu enchiladas. They were delicious. The green sauce on top was fantastic.
What a treat! We were up from Seattle and after finishing our shopping looked around for a Mexican restaurant. We just happened upon El Gitano and struck gold. The homemade salsa and chips are outstanding, and each of our meals were exceptional. Staff were all friendly and warm, and the decor was beautiful. We bought salsa to take home!
Went here on a lark...and craving some Mexican food. The outside was well maintained and beautifully painted...looked inviting! Same care on the inside, a real treat with all the painted chairs, etc. We were warmly greeted by our waitress, who helped make this visit. The chips were warm, crispy and not oily. The salsa was outstanding with a myriad of flavors. Our meals were not only wonderfully delicious, we had plenty for a second meal at home. Kudos to the chef. This is a place...
